    Simple fun and powerful
This is a fun and useful app. It's great for quickly making a quirky little beat or two to work with. I use it a lot.

Best drum synth in the game!
This is one of the most creative, elegant and playful music apps to ever be released on the iOS platform. Simple controls, clever DSP, and an intuitive UI make Tweaky Beat one of the oddball treasures of iOS music making. Brilliant stuff! Show more

    This thing is pretty cool!
Hello, Casey Koplin aka Ck13 here, I don't usually write reviews but this quirky sequencer style beat machine with the heat and soul of an original NES and an Atari 2600, it has some synth-like controls and is easy to program, in like 10 min of tinkering after watching a brief tutorial I had created 7 parts of a song, I can totally see useing this mixed with other apps by just multi-tracking it in cubasis (my fav Daw, I have almost all of them that are in this store) like from what I see from playing around with it for a day now, it's way more useful than it first appears, it's UI is so simple it's seems like it's just a toy noise maker, but no it's actually a neat new tool, it seems to keep time perfect and switching patterns is really smooth, everything's works perfectly, mixing the sounds on here with others to add bass, "normal" drums, and it is very possible to create some cool electronic music that will have a retro vibe by default, once you start to remember what block color make which sound, your good to go, the controls are simple and effective, and with audiobus, putting some effects on it it does what it does and it does it well, if your after something that makes that "8-bit" video game" sound, look no further, this one is right on! Minimal funky beats
This is the right kind of app for the iFamily of devices, but is especially right for the iPhone/iPod Touch. Simple controls and a minimal interface combine to make an enjoyable experience for the user! Show more

    Super fun & rewarding
I try out almost all the studio and drum machine apps. Some have powerful features and beautiful interfaces, but the simple-to-use Tweakybeat is the one I like the most. It's fun to play with and easy to get unique sounds and complex loops with minimal effort. Once I start I have a hard time putting it down. Tweakybeat is all over my last several albums and has become an integral part of my sound. Mike Langlie, aka Twink the toy piano band Show more

    PURE MAGIC
I love a lot of the high-end iAudio apps - but i Live for apps like TweakyBeat: minimal, quirky, with a real sense of control and expression that brings about serious results. This is a one-of-a-kind app and I absolutely love it. THANK You Rodrigo ! Show more

Simple, everything on main screen, easily adjustable parameters, learn in minutes, great fun to use, creative, thoughtfully designed, and a nice addition to your iOS sound studio.

    Like it but...
I like this app a lot. Works well, but well I when I used the paste function into other apps, such as studio.M, it crashed that app. I tried pasting to SpaceSampler and the copying to studio.M, but still crashing. I will continue to use and play with and try out. I really like the random function and it is fun to experiment with. UPDATE: It appears to have something to do with the duration of the recorded sample. Works better with a sample with a longer duration than 3 seconds. All in all, I'd buy it again. Show more

    Essential app for electronic musicians
As an electronic sample generator tweakybeat is one of the best I've ever had the privilege of using. It's logical, self explanatory, simplistic to use, I could compliment tweakybeat all day. I do really feel its a hugely useful tool because its possible to create highly usable samples and beats that rival even ielectribe (I am only comparing to ielectribe because its acclaimed as one of the best generated drum machines for iOS). Also keep in mind I am not talking about sample based apps like beatmaker, I am referring to apps that fully generate samples in my comparisons. The absolute top of my wish list would be the addition of an LFO in some variant or just generally any kind of beat matched oscillation that can be applied to pitch, waveform, noise ect.. If tweakybeat had automatable parameters, midi, and any kind of polyphony, tweakybeat would hands down be a more useful app than just about any other mobile drum app I have used. I don't know if anyone else cares about this, but I prefer to use 24bit samples when I can... if possible I would like the option of rendering in 24bit or higher. Also I would love to see beat matched echo, and a basic reverb. Maybe that's a lot to ask for but tweakybeat has made huge improvements that I never imagined would happen. The past several updates to tweakybeat were like Christmas for me. Audio copy is awesome, the distortion is harsh and delightfully gritty, and the randomize tool is the icing of the cake. Using randomize makes Tweakybeat capable of making parts that extend for several minutes that never loop or repeat (if you know what your doing). This aspect of tweakybeat is more useful to me than just about any other digital drum machine I have used. Moving saved sessions between devices rocks, something many other mobile drum / synth apps lack BTW. I use tweakybeat all the time now and I would place it at the top of my list for essential music making apps. If you don't have tweakybeat yet and you produce any kind of electronic-ish music, freaking buy it already. Show more

    Look no further!
This is the ultimate analog style drum machine emulation on iOS, because not only does it offer an excellent variety of options that you might expect from a drum synthesizer, it also really has it's own sound! 5/5 Show more
