    Simple and easy to use
Provides you with the notes, but does not "listen" to your instrument and tell you if you're sharp or flat. This was fine for my needs. Easy to use and nice design. Show more

    Banjo tuner
I am very dissappointed. I purchased this app and I am getting advertisements !! Very annoying since the add is next to the tuning keys!!!!!

    Disappointing
I don't see why this app doesn't have alternate tunings like the guitar tuner app. Also when you "pluck" a note on the GT it resonates for a few seconds but on the BT it ends almost immediately. Why not make all stringed instrument tuner apps functionally equal? It would be really awesome if user could choose their own tunings a string at a time. I'd buy that app! Show more

    Terrible
Not a tuner just a terrible app don't waste your time downloading

    Sound bite too short.
You press the button, put one hand on the tuning peg and one to pluck the string, and the sound is done. Working with a small window of time.

    Not bad
Not bad, but not all that good either. It works fine, and you can use it to tune, but it's a bit annoying to use. I wouldn't rely on it. I will say its better than my old tuner, but that thing was awful. Show more

There are better options out there...
There are better choices in the free market. This only plays the string once when you press it. Not really all that useful.

    Not bad
Not bad for an initial tune. Just don't rely on it.

    Learning
It's handy on iPod; it's sampled, which helps to ear train with other instruments.

    Use an ear
You will be tone deaf if you end up relying on this

Not a tuner, a banjo sample player. And not a good one. Thanks. About to play a gig and lost my ***pitch whistle*** and its not even as good ad that. Thanks to whoever wrote this. You managed to take 21st century technology and make it worse than (arguably) 18Th century reed whistle tuners. You should be ashamed. Show more

    Good app
    I dig it.
  • David Smith, 20.12.2012
    OK!
    Works for me.
  • LingrĂ¥m, 15.12.2012
    Meh...
Notes cut away so fast, it's hard to get a good pitch.
  • Guinness3102, 21.10.2012
    Why
I don't know what everyone considers a tuner, but this is not it. A tuner judges a sound, this simply plays it.
  • homebrewgirl, 26.09.2012
    Works great!
I like that the tone lasts only a moderate length of time so you can hear your banjo note sustain and adjust accordingly.

    Good app
Works good. Helped me tune up my banjo for the first time using it.
