This app has a nice design and concept, but actually using it is torturous. The tab lines don’t fit into the margin or correct themselves. You can type out an entire tab, but if you write notes in a consecutive order the entire tab just.. shuffles the entire tab? Then you have to remove that all, and then write the entire thing over again and hope it doesn’t mess up (which it likely will) Show more

Makes writing down anything I come up with very convenient compared to using the notes app, and quicker than writing it down on paper. I do wish the play function could utilize different tunings, but alas it is a minor complaint. Would definitely recommend to a friend Show more

Please add the option to make a tab for ukulele instead of guitar! It would only require more chord guides :)

It's simple, easy to use and a utility I've wanted for a long time. Among other things, I use it to create short riffs and licks that I then copy-paste into my performance sheet music. Suggestion: Help file should explain that bar/measure breaks are created by clicking the vertical line key on your keyboard (|). That instantly places a measure break across all 6 strings. I thought I had to place the chords over the text in the editing mode. That messed everything up. Place your chords in front of the word where you want the chord. It will show up over the word in your preview & PDF. Show more

It worked fine for writing chords down but when I try to write tabs it keeps glitching and erasing everything and it closes the app by itself. Really annoying please fix this. Also if you want to print or export it, you have to pay to upgrade. Please fix the glitch. Show more

Is there a way to get it to automatically play instead of having to click on each cord in song? Also can I specify up or down stroke on a chord?

I thought it was going to be even more painful to copy and paste into this app and to my surprise, it worked out very well! All I had to do was add in the chords. ???? Show more

I could write and stuff on it really well, but when I press the preview button all the chords move to different spots.

Okay, I have never written a review for the App Store in my life but this app truly blew me away. It's so simple, easy to use, no confusing interfaces and buttons. Its so easy to write out tabs for my songs with this app and it really helps that you're able to play back what you've written down! It's the most convenient thing for writing tabs and I'm planning to use it for a long time! Love you developers!! I've been waiting for an app like this for a long time!! Show more

V2.2 does not work with OS v3.x - it crashes on all functions - completely useless. Hopefully the developer will fix it.

I agree with Robb McCormick in that, there should be a way to edit or create your own tabs rather than always relying on internet searches. It doesn't make sense not to have that option in an application like this, and without it, the app is totally incomplete. Secondly, I agree that there should be a way to save your settings per song. You should be able to set the autoscroll speed and save it so that you don't have to reset it every time you open the song. It doesn't make sense not to have that either. Hence, my vote today is for an incomplete app. Doesn't look like the devs are much interested in following through with additions, etc. The app would have an extemely high rating if the devs kept up with it, but as it is, it will only ever be mediocre. The search is still on for an app that covers everything, and more. Show more
