    No Restore Purchase Option
I’ve rated this one star on the basis that there is no restore purchase option. Absolute nonsense.

Where is this “restore purchase” feature?
I bought it on IPad last week, and downloaded on IPhone XS, and it wants me to repurchase it, with no “restore purchase” option to be found! This app is scam!! Show more

    Can’t restore purchases on iPhone
Otherwise nice app, but this obvious bug is quite annoying.

    The best!
I have all the amp simulation and effects apps on here. I have been playing for 30 years. This one is the best sounding and has the best feel with breakup. Show more

Ripped off because of poorly implemented Restore Purchases.
So I was fairly impressed with Agile Partners years ago, until now. I just lost 37.00 trying to restore my “AmpKit - Guitar Amps and Pedals”. I was just looking to redownload the app I bought as part of the bundle years ago. I downloaded “AmpKit+ Guitar Amps and Pedals” and was prompted to upgrade. I knew I had already bought it and upgraded that one, but could not find a way to restore the purchase other than to hit the upgrade button. Which I did, and lo and behold, Agile charged me 29.99 for the same thing all over again. If you look closely, the name of the app is slightly different. In their FAQ, they say you can restore if you have the same version you downloaded. So that should have been my first clue when I could not find the restore function. Some apps restore your purchase when you purchase, or remind you if you already bought it. NOT THIS ONE. Because technically it isn’t even the same app. So my bad, I guess. Who knows how many thousands of dollars they’ve made with this borderline dishonest and poorly designed UI for upgrades and purchases. STAY AWAY. Show more

    A Grift?
How do I rightfully restore what I’ve purchased?

    Ghost Town?
I think this company has fallen off the radar. I’ve been pleased with the app, but not responding to user’s questions and issues in the App Store is NOT A GOOD SIGN. I too, purchased the entire package a good while ago but now see no RESTORE option. Plus, I see there’s an AmpKit+?? I thought that’s what I had. I’ve still got my old iPhone 7Plus and everything is on there and running great. It even says “ALL AMPS AND PEDALS AVAILABLE...any upcoming gear will be available to you for free”. With my new iPhone XR it’s as if I’m starting all over. They want $49.95 (AGAIN!) I still love the app a lot, but customer service needs to be AMPED up considerably. I’ll add stars when I see some response from developers...not only to me, but to the countless others waiting for answers. I’d love to use the app on my new phone-it’s awesome! But... There’s no RESTORE PURCHASE button/option anywhere on the app or their website. Show more

    Doesn’t sound good at all
This was One of the first guitar amp simulators for the iPhone. I bought a couple of an app purchases back when it first came out and it was OK for a while. However, none of the amps sound anything Nothing like the amps they’re supposed to be. They are also very noisy with lots of background noise as well. The bottom line is the sound quality is terrible. This was fine back in the early days of the iPhone, but today there are so many better quality choices on the App Store. Do yourself a favor and skip this app and go grab one of the many other dozens of guitar amp simulators out there. Show more

3 Years and still love it!!
I feel for the guys who’ve had problems, but for me? Three years later this app still ROCKS! Seriously. First, understand I bought the whole kit shortly after downloading the freebie, which made everything excellent. Whenever I update, I’m happily surprised with new stuff to try. You need to understand what this app IS. It’s a really great amp rig simulator you can use to create great music, and gain a working knowledge of how to use “real” amps. You don’t have to feel intimidated at the guitar store because you don’t know what will happen when you plug into a 5150. You can walk up, set it, and play. What it ISN’T ...it isn’t a full-on DAW. There are other tools for that. The interface with Garage Band could use some polishing, but I can’t really complain. I figured it out. Just takes a little trial and error. If you want to record your own playing with genuinely good tones, and really experiment with gear before you go buy the real thing, this app is perfect for you. It can be addicting... there is a world of tones and effects to play with. ALSO ? you can import almost any audio and play over top of it... yes. Play with your favorite recordings, and record yourself doing it. It won’t replace studio equipment, and wasn’t meant to. It WILL give you a full rig you can carry in your pocket. With a set of headphones, and a solid body guitar, you can rock out even in the smallest apartment or hotel room. Download it with confidence. I highly recommend it! Show more

    Awesome results for me
I love this app. I use it with a rock smith cable through a lightning camera adaptor and it works great. Had no problem with ‘restore purchases“ button after upgrading to a new iPhone. Show more

Feeling ripped off - cannot restore purchases
I cannot restore my purchases due to a UI bug that they refuse to fix. I assume people are still making in-app purchases — be warned you will probably not continue to have access to those products if you get a new phone or reset your current one. Their email support has no solution except that they will ‘fix it in the next update, sorry about that.’ I got that useless email two months ago, and nothing since; and the current version is now a year old, so I have to assume it will never happen. At this point they are just scamming people and should be removed from the App Store. Shame on the owner. Show more

Best iOS Amp Sim Hands Down
I have use this app for many years, and like others, have experienced some bumps along the way with restoring purchases. But all that was fixed long ago. Bottom line: the sound and feel for me is worlds better than the Bias stuff, AmpliTube or any of the others. It sounds better than many dedicated hardware amp modelers. I love playing through this and even use it live in some situations. I just HOPE the developers keep it alive!! Show more

Recently upgraded to iPhone X, no way to restore past purchases. Lame.

    Where’s the restore purchases button
I gave it 1 star because it doesn’t appear to let me restore my purchases. I spent a lot of money on this app. Let me know if I'm missing something. Show more

    Don’t buy this app
I felt it was necessary for me to rate this app with one star in order to have the possibility to review this product and explain to other customers why not to buy this app If you change your phone or tablet you’ll be able to transfer just the software to the app but not the pedals and amps you bought for almost $50.00 Show more
