    Love It!! Even more!!!
I have long been a user of BarFly on my Mac. Delighted to find this App for my iPad. It's a little rough around the edges but I believed it will soon be smoothed out. The above was my first review of this app. Well the developer has ironed out the rough edges and it is one slick app. I no long have to carry around a notebook full of songs as they are on my iPad and ready to go at a touch. Just what I wanted
This ap is just what I wanted for my iPad. I use the abc format for my music and I no longer have to bring a bag full of tune books to a session. A couple of minor points. The ! Symbol is ignored and does not force a new line in the score. When I am playing a set of tunes, I need to have a quick was to switch from one score to another. Perhaps a page swipe could display all the tunes in a folder. Show more

    Fine Work
This app does what it says it will do. Along the way there have been some bugs, but the creator is very responsive to them and fixes them well. There are little tiny things that probably can be improved. An occasional rhythm glitch shows up in the music playback for example. But what is important here is that the app is solid and does what is claims with no real problems while the creator continues to support it with improvements and expansions as time goes on. Printing throughAir Print is the most important recent upgrade. If you need to work with abc files and find it handy to have a full collection of tunes at your fingertips this is certainly an app well worth the money. Show more

    A good start
I've been waiting for this app. I already use abc in Barfly as part of my composition workflow and to write out exercises and such for trombone. Now I can work wherever I want to. While the app has a few rough edges, it also has some really nice features. I like the ability to organize pieces into tune books. I also like the web searching and upload/download capabilities. It makes exchange with the desktop simple. It would be nice to be able to turn off the automatic repeating play. The instrument sounds are not great, but adequate for my purposes. I would love to see tunes paginated so you could flip through pages with a screen tap. That would definitely earn the iPad a place on my music stand. Show more
