    Misleading
    I love Amplitube for sound and ease; but here’s the thing - I bought the bundle with Slash. I also have it for my Mac. There is gear not included in the iPad version that you get in the Mac version that you need to buy separate. It goes for all of the packages. It blows my mind. All in should be all in. But the sims sound great so there’s that, I guess. Just know that going in. Show more

    Nothing new in 6 years besides iap’s
    Pretty much outdated, nothing really new feature wise has been added or improved in half a decade, just more iap’s of new amps that I’ve long stopped investing in since now we have developers who make amp sims that support auv3, which this does not and probably never will. Ik multimedia has no vision for the future as far as this and many of their other apps go, they’re stuck in the past or just aren’t interested in competing with developers who are keeping up with the IPad/IOS platform, if this was 2013 their apps would be relevant, now they’re just relics of the past.     To the devs,You guys keep releasing stuff for the new AmpliTube for the computer,, let’s not forget about this app, we would like to see more frequent updates and those new effects and amps available to use for us as well.People that make negative claims about this app,are not using it right IMO. Use a good digital interface and tweak the settings a bit,and your done! It takes little effort to dial in good tones. Used it live for many years,with a midi interface,and it works spot on. Zero latency is also a huge plus! Controlling parameters was a breeze! Stop reading,and start creating! ✌️?✌️ Show more

    No decent auto wash envelope filter
    Of the available pedals, there is only one envelope filter and it is terrible, huge aliasing, it isn’t useful at all. Which makes me nervous about buying more pedals. I love the GUI but the sound is horrid. I hope it improves. Show more

    Can’t be taken seriously without AU support
    Good sounds, great functionality, but lacks a key feature for modern iOS music making that is unforgivable. It has zero AU support. It has been years and it still isn’t here. Makes saving and recalling iOS DAW sessions super frustrating. Fix that and I would update my rating accordingly. Show more

    Drums in Looper
    The looper is great, but would be more useful if it could be used simultaneously with the drum loops. Pasting an audio track to an empty loop track would be great too, as well as the ability to clear a recorded loop track individually. Lastly, the ability to save and load previous loops would be nice. The amps and effects sound really nice! Keep up the great work! Show more

    Pop ups are back, works like the free version
    It become almost unusable. Every time I try to use it now it goes into the background and opens an ad when I try to do anything. Was 4 - 5 stars until the foolishness started... Show more

    Simply frustrating
    When I first got this app several years ago, it was great.....then I tried to use it with SampleTank...yikes. I’m telling you right now, IK just doesn’t make this worth it anymore. I have sunk quite a bit of money into this and their other programs and nothing seems to work consistently. I’m at the point I wish they had a time machine app so I could go back and get my money back....but that probably wouldn’t work right either Show more

    Great app
    The app over all is amazing to use it saves me so much money and time. Instead of going out and buying 1,000 worth of gear i can spend 20 to 40 dollars on 10 amps and sound effects. I am wondering if ik multimedia can add some new amps and pedals in a newer update like EVH amps, Marshall amps, and some other distortion pedals like death. I hope ik multimedia will please add some new gear thank you for the great sound hope to see new things in the future. Ps i got some money to spend I’m only going to spend it on the new gear if you want some money i need new gear. Show more

    Meh... it’s ok
    It works well... lots of “pay for play” options that are affordable. The one thing I want to use it for doesn’t work for me, so I’m extremely disappointed. The feature that doesn’t work for me is: you can’t import DRM protected music into the looper. If I want to steal the song I wouldn’t do it by using this product, so not being able to loop or slow down a song to learn it because it is DRM protected is quite disappointing and is where it gets 3 stars from. It gives you the option to select songs from your library that it can’t import, it just shouldn’t show them if it can’t import them. Show more

    Best app ever 5 stars
    All my pedals in an app!!! The bad reviews are not justified I believe you thought you could get the whole Shabang for nothing! I almost didn’t buy the app because of the bad reviews. The description for the app is perfect and yes you may have to buy a few extra pedals for your own personalized effects but try buying a pedal for $3.99 at the music store! Good Luck! Great app great effects installed and yes I will buy more pedals! Show more

    NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER!
    Don’t waste your time sending on-line requests to IK MULTIMEDIA for problems related to AMPLITUBE......they never respond. They promise a reply within 24-48 hrs, then deliver NOTHING. And they don’t post most of their negative reviews, including mine which no doubt will include this one too. These guys are only interested in selling their adwares......beware of these scammers. Their 2.9/5 rating should warn you. Show more

    Save your money and get anything else
    I was excited when I first read about this, but for it to be anything but an amp, they want you to spend the amount of money as actual gear would cost. My AMPLIFi Fx cost me $100 used and came with dozens of amp models, cabs, pedals, effects and the app was free. New patches are free. This on the other hand is complete garbage where they want to nickel and dime you for everything. I spent $20 so I can play my guitar thru my iPad on one amp model. They won’t get another dime from me. Do your research. I wasn’t scared off by the bad reviews and I should have. This isn’t about the musicians at all. Show more

    Blown away
    This app is really incredible to me. The attention to detail, quality of the replicated pedals / amps is just awesome. I am using this with the irig Stomp I/o and it is such a fun convenient yet high quality experience. It is allowing me to learn about gear without spending thousands of dollars (just hundreds bc I did buy the irig and unlocked all the gear in the app haha) I have officially ditched line 6'a outdated and abandoned AMPLIFi app for AmpliTube. Thank you for creating this and continuing to improve it!! Oh and I should add: I love that I am able to run this out to my boomerang loop pedal that I love. I couldn’t do that with my AMPLIFi. I know that this app has a looper built in but I prefer using a dedicated pedal board for looping so this is awesome. Show more

    There are some things we could do better and more stable if you start supporting AU . In AUM we could control any amplitube Knob with MIDI, like the Wah for example using rozeta LFO Show more

    Not possible to transfer purchased items to iPhone
    App has a lot app purchases inside. Without these extras it barely usable. Expect to spend about $40 for this and that. However, it’s not possible to transfer purchased items to iPhone. I contacted support and they responded to all other issues, but for this one (can’t transfer purchased items) they just keep silence and do not reply. Also, while app has decent core functionality, it’s not polished and has a lot of bugs, like metronom will not start on first tap, need to stop and start it again. This app and it’s extras are priced unreasonably high for present quality. Show more
