    F'ing BS
Love the app, been doing me great for awhile but now the worst that could happen did. Here i am having spend a ENTIREE WEEEK clipping mixing and editing a demo i need for my promoter. Being super detailed to time we all of a sudden during and i accidental drag one channels take over another's channels take while the menu pops up then selects delete track almost instantly after dragging by accident while trying to zoom. Well about now easy ill just press the undo button a couple times.. Oh except the app froze on me and crashed. Losing MY ENTIRE BODY OF MY PROJECT THAT I CANNOT GET ANOTHER TAKE OF TILL I HIT THE STUDIO NEXT WEEK. All while i need is demo tomorrow. There is no save options. So i can save only what id like as i go, but instead am forced to whatever the app saves in the moment it closes or F'ing crashes.now i have nothing. But on top it'll now. As i have now attempted to do an acoustic version to get the point across, guess what?. IT CRASHES EVERY SINGLE TIME I TRY TO EDIT A DANG THING. I have paid $40 for what? Wasting literally 10's of hours of my life and hard pressed playing take after take to lose the entire project because the app crashed and i was given no backup option? Honestly even writing this is making me more mad. Unless there is a bloody miracle i think I'm done with this app. It time to put my work in the hands of a company that considers these possibilities and cares about the musicians work whom they built their whole business around Show more

Confusing downloads at best ... deceptive at worst
Paid 19.99 for Amplitube app download ... looper should have been included as per app preview ... but now it’s asking for another 19.99. Probably wasted many more dollars in time trying to figure out this cluster Show more

Great but pricey in the app realm! I personally love it.
Would have given 5 stars but can't get it to import iTunes music library songs for practicing along with. However iTunes and Amplitude work together so you can set up your amp and then switch to iTunes to play songs. Hopefully app update will someday sort out this one glitch. However this should be a 5 Star app and I don't get some of the reviews. This app is one of the best simulators I have heard. If it was the amps and pedals alone it would be great but you get many other features. Yes you have to pay to activate but since when do you get hardware for free? You don't. Any experienced gear head or musician understands that you have to pay to get quality gear. 28 years playing and to have only paid a little over $200 for this rig is amazing. 10 years ago this much versatility would have cost $1000-$1500. Keep the updates coming. Love them. Hopefully you can add some Boss pedals soon. Show more

    Buy this app!
I heard about this app and thought it sounded like a great idea/product. So, I went to the app store and got the free version after purchasing an iRig for $10 on Amazon. Everything worked great. But my options were a little limited (understandbly seeing as it was free). I was decided to upgrade to the pay version but wanted to check out the reviews first. There were so many negative reviews that I almost changed my mind. But then I figured, hey, it's only $20. So glad I got it. Everything works great and as expected. The included amps are the first 8 that show up in the top row of the free version. And the included stomps are the first 17. So, there's a lot to try out and play with. You do get a lot for the money. Would certainly recommend. Show more

    Frustrating as hell
I am using this product on an iPad 3. My main complaint is with the loop drummer, which hasn't functioned since iOS 8 was installed. I have communicated with the manufacturer and they acknowledge the issues. They have released updates that do not rectify the problems. I have spent a great deal of money on their hardware and software. This product is virtually useless in its present state. I do not recommend purchasing this product until the bugs are fixed. It's taking way too long. IRig, iLoud, BlueBoard, Slash, Hendrix, Fender, Drum tracks, looper, 8 track daw....what else? Can't even calculate the investment. It does not function. Complete joke. Do not recommend. Spend your money elsewhere. Poor to nonexistent customer service. That being said, when it functioned, it was a useful tool. F to the U. Show more

    The Guitar Money Pit
False, misleading description of what you are getting. I bought the Irig $40. The store repaid it came with a "upgrade from the free to the paid version. It doesn't. So another $20. Then I look into it and not tons more then the free version had. ($20. For this app should unlock it all, common!) and then I go to the Drum machine and guess what...you get NOTHING more than the free version! 1 cheap as drum pack for Rock only. What another drum rock pack $5.00. Oh you want maybe a blues, or jazz or more rock beats.. $15.00 On and on. Screw this man, I have Rock Band on my iPad free. Show more

Paid $40 for the iRig device, $20 more for app
I'm disappointed that the device I thought would be compatible with Garage Band requires this app, and even more disappointed that it's $20 extra. The in app purchases make this app even further frustrating. You'd think that $20 is enough for all the features, but then you dish out even more once you have the app. I wouldn't recommend this device or its app to anyone. Show more

    Cool but not what's promised
This app works great but just about every feature marketed as included has to be bought separately. It cost me $50 just to get started with this app. Misleading advertising ruined this for me but it is a cool app. Show more

Love it so far and recommend it!
I will be honest, I haven't recorded anything with it yet. But the US sales team has been awesome! I have worked with them a bit making sure I get what I need and they have been very helpful. I have had this software for awhile now and it's been great, no issues, no delays no static. I have known some local guitar players to use this on the stage live. For what this software delivers you can't go wrong and the price is awesome compared to some pedals I own that are $350 and more and take up allot of space. I sold them off and just use this now and used the trade in to get another guitar :) Oh and I did contact technical support and they did get back to me with in 24 hours as stated. So maybe it's the reviewers attitude that's the reason he didn't get a response. I have used both the original IRig which did record at a lower quality and then the new IRig 2 HD. The new one connects a heck of allot better in my opinion and does offer a much higher quality of sound. Also wanted to add I have tried about 7 apps or so that do the same thing and this one by far is laid out the best and the easiest to us. Also it is maintained while some on the App Store shouldn't even be allowed to be sold. I don't work for IRig I just had to review because of the low score and the fact that from what I have used thus far, its a much better product than the others on the App Store including garage band.. lol.. wonder if some of the negative reviews aren't from other companies trying to boost their product? Wish we had an open forum would love to talk to the people with issues.. PEBCAK maybe? Can't wait for a David Gilmore Set!! Show more

Please fix or update the quality of your overdrive/distortion stomp boxes. The level knob don't work unless the gain knob is up and your tube screamer is so weak I can't get unity volume even when it's wide open.Make the level knob work with out the gain knob having to be turned up. Show more

I hate this software now soooooo much.
This used to work fine. But now it crashes all the time when recording and switching between projects. It is so aggravating because it used to be good. Honestly I'll never use this product or this company's other products again. There are far better products elsewhere. Trust was broken. Seems like it may have gone down hill after forcing the software to give me pop-up adds for their crappy speaker even though I've spent a ton of money on their software as it is. Stay away. Show more

    Works Great, Sounds Great, Delivers
I have no idea what's up with these negative reviews. I re-downloaded this app on my iPad 4, and everything works fine. All of my in-app purchases showed up, the sound quality is excellent, and the new layout is pretty sweet. Okay, so they've made the in-app purchases more visible. Cool. I didn't know there was an OCD model, and I probably wouldn't have looked for one, but I sure am enjoying it. If you don't want to buy the extras, then don't—the app is well stocked from the beginning. Look, by and large, I'm mild-weathered about IK Multimedia gear and software. They're okay, but usually nothing to write home about. The exception to this is their amp/effects emulation. I've been using everything from kidney-bean-shaped Pods to Eleven and beyond ever since this market opened up, and IK's Amplitube has always kept up with the competition. There are a ton of amp/effects modeling apps out there today, and most of them are okay. What I love about IK and Amplitube is that you can count on them to be accurate. I wanted an amp that sounds like my Hotrod Deluxe Deville, so I bought one. Other than the fact that I can get amp distortion out of the app without hitting tinnitus-inducing SPLs, the emulation is perfect. It's your call, but I'd say this is among the most solid guitar apps you'll find. Show more

    Please Fix
I would normally think, that a Company should stand behind his product but it seems IK Multimedia refuses to do it. If I am wrong please fix your product. When I bought this product, I was expected that it functioned properly, not sometimes. Show more

Have to buy again for iPhone, Why?
I bought the iPad app, and with other apps you get the iPhone app also. Not with Amplitube. They make you spend extra on all the stuff to make it usable, and now I have an iPhone and would have to buy the app and all the other ad ons again. No thanks. Show more

    Back-pedaling Company
This app is the worst. It's been around for a while and every so often, the company will remove a feature you used to have or had purchased only to make you pay for it again as a "feature." Like mic positioning. Apple really needs to hire some people to investigate app developers for predatory consumer practices. Show more

PAID APPS SHOULD *NOT* HAVE ADS!!!!
Not only did this app that I PAID for throw an ad in my face, it was an ad for $300 speakers! REALLY?!? Are they nuts?!?! That's 20x more than the price of the app! What makes them think I can afford that?!? WORST UPSALE TACTIC *EVER*!!! ONE STAR!!!!!! Show more

    CRAP!
This thing is a JOKE! I hate it. Complete waste of money. Doesn't function, manual is totally outdated, they want more payment for anything useful, worst mistake I have made buying apps. Stick to GarageBand, it does what it says it will do and isn't a bait app to sell you $$$$$$ of stuff to make it useful. I'd give it -10 stars if I could. I was skeptical when the reviews were non existent before purchase, now I know why! Show more
