Love just about everything the hosts play on KDFC. Not a big fan of the Star Wars & and Harry Potter & other movie soundtrack bits. I could live without those, but everything else is sublime. And Laura Downs is my favorite host by far. Her choices are always beautiful & her insights are often inspiring. And I love her voice. Second favorite, is the From The Top show. This show is truly inspirational for anyone who might think all of America’s teens are lazy or only ever stuck on their phones. FTT is really a gift for your ears. I really like Maggie in the morning. Before the music begins she unfolds before us a picture of its composer in that day juggling his or her works in progress. Hmmmm... Maybe Maggie is getting a little too popular. My internet stream stops, and I must restart it several times an hour. I check my signal by going to Pandora. It is always playing. Show more

Returned to listening during the pandemic and have continued. Offers me a vast number of emotions throughout the day.

Having been exposed to classical music via WCRB in Boston most of my life, I find the snippets of music And sing-songy and squeaky moderators to be irritating. I still listen to WCRB on the app, but will tune into the classical ultimate playlist from time to time. That’s about all I can tolerate here. Show more

I grew up in the Bay Area and often had classical music as the background of my life. I moved out of state, became a charter member, and have been streaming through moves to 3 different states. Although we are now on the east coast, I have never found a better classical station. I listen most of my day and night and due to the time difference enjoy programming I had not previously had the opportunity to experience. My appreciation and knowledge have expanded tremendously thanks to the background information provided by the charming and knowledgeable hosts. To KDFC a heartfelt bravo! Show more
