    Disappointed
I took a chance and purchased this app thinking it would be able to identify the chord I was playing by sound. It cannot. I wish I could get a refund. My advice is be careful what you purchase from Apple...you may be stuck with it. Show more

    Needs some work.
I like the concept. Needs help on the iPad. Doesn’t have all chord names. Doesn’t have a way to play back a series of chords (like Chord Suggester).

    Identifying chord shapes
I have been looking for an app like this for a long time and I have finally found it.something that when I am noodling around and I create a chord that sounds good I can see what it is right away.In just a few hours I have found chords that I can move up and down the neck learning theory already had a couple of “oh yeah “ moments would be great at twice the price. Thanks thank you very much Show more

    Wonderful teaching tool
I have relied on this for a few years as I slowly gain my ability to analyze the pieces I’m working on. Couldn’t do without it.

    Amazing
Helps songwriters explain their finger yoga to classically-trained retards.

    Very pleased
This app is what I was looking for. The only thing I would like see is an option to see the guitar , piano and music notation of the chord on the same screen. If not then a toggle button so you don’t have to go into settings to change the display. Would be nice for an export into pdf also. Show more

    Love it.
As a musician and music teacher this app is incredibly valuable. I use it every day and recommend it to every one of my students.

    Older version was better
November 14 update: the developer has kept his word and updated the app to address my gripe. Thanks! ????????? The older version was better. In the older version, when you pressed on the keys in keyboard piano, it would produce the note. When you press the second time it wouldn't as if to turn the note off. The new version makes it sound both times. This is very distracting. Hopefully the new developer will fix this. Otherwise, the app is perfect. Show more

Love this app. Chord names! Enharmonics!
Nice layout and update. Wish could save chords sets as songs. Otherwise it is almost perfect!

    Simply Great
This is a beautiful app. It's design is simple and it's easy to use. I wanted to go into the Stills tuning DADDAD, and this was the first app that made it simple. The developer also responded quickly to a question I had. This is well worth the investment. Show more

    Good stuff! A few recommendations
It would be awesome to have a figured bass/roman numeral option too for the keyboard part and customizable language. For example instead of saying "A#minor seventh, G# bass note" we could have it say "fourth inversion" or 4 2. That way we could see all the different things we can call the chord Show more

    Reverse Chord Finder Pro
I love using this app! It helps me to tell people what chord I'm playing who know a lot more about music than I do! I learn something every time I try to figure out a chord! Really easy to use and really helpful. Show more

    Easy and very detailed!
This app is really great! Its detailed and will give you all the possible chord names for anything you play. Plus you can view the note names, fret numbers, or chord note intervals and switch between those options seamlessly for teaching yourself and expressing chords to others! I really like this app!! Works great on guitar or piano. Show more

    Great with one suggestion.
I expected for an app like this for a long time. Nice additions to the update. For movable chords it will be faster to slide the chords down and up the fret board as a group of notes rather than "re-typing" the chord. Other than that I'm very happy with it. Show more

    Excellent composition tool
Helps in voicing choices when creating music. Also helps in learning & comprehension of theory & instruments.
