App does take advance of the quality of HE ACC. But this is ONLY for HE ACC. You will not find anything else here. Stations are very limited. A good update to this app is to include LC ACC station etc, lower the price and please get rid of the dog. Show more

Now as I am updating this review although they do carry some stations there are many they don't count. Also the HE-AAC encoding is not so great as some streams are even as low as 32kbps when the stations have higher bitrate streams in MP3 & LC-AAC that sound much better. Also the reason why I deleted it is because of the icon. It stars at you when a stream don't work which many listed don't work. No error message or anything just dead air. Adding your own stations is not worth the hassle because you have to know the exact IP address, port etc. You can't just add a simple pls or m3u link. Then it locks the screen still. There is no way to prevent this unless you set your device to never lock. I keep my iPod Touch in the dock most of the time so I want to be able to keep the screen on. Because of these shortcomings I deleted this app and took my losses. Show more

This latest version fixes an issue with RTMP support. It works great with cellular data. Also the developer is easy to reach by email and addresses reported issues quickly. Overall I am very pleased with this app! Show more

Just picked this up because I wanted to use it with my Pioneer AppRadio. This is one of the best apps for the AppRadio hands down. There are a ton of stations and they sound GREAT. This is an awesome app. Well done! Show more

I used to listen to WBZ on TuneIn Pro but lately all I've been getting is "station is not available." I found out CBS has changed all their streams to a Flash based format, and this is the only app I could find that handles Flash streams. Pricey, but it works, so I'm happy. Ready for listening to Steve Leveille next time insomnia strikes. ;) Show more

Interesting that some other reviews complain about station quantity, as I have noticed that StreamS includes stations that are not available on other apps. Could it be that some stations only allow high quality audio? Anyway, I've done head to head sound tests, and StreamS wins every time. The quality is GOOD. And it works better with fewer buffering delays even while driving and listening using 3G. I highly recommend this app for anyone who wants the best sound possible. Show more

Piece of crap!! Can only hear music from a few stations. The rest are just dead air!!

This app is well worth the $4.99, its like having a global transistor radio but with the audio quality of a hi fi stereo !

I am not impressed with this app. It claims to have better sound quality than other apps but I dont hear it. Unfortunately that is what this app is meant to do really well but fails miserably. With the lack of stations this app offers I can't find any reason to even keep this app so i will delete it and consider it a waste of money so in my opinion don't waste yours and stay away from this app. Show more

I got this app specifically for boomerradio. I am grateful someone got their head on straight & made their music available on our iphone. I have discovered similar music on similar streams on the app. Thank you for not relying heavily on graphics in your listings. I use the accessibility feature in iphone known as voiceover to navigate the screen. Please continue to tag your buttons making them visible to voiceover. As for the quality, it is excellent. Please do not break this app in future versions rendering it unusable for those of us who are blind. As is right now well worth the five bucks. Show more

Why is it now called StreamS?

I could have spent the money on a large latte at Starbucks. I mean yes if this was not what you were looking for you feel that it is money waisted. I went to the "more" page and found there wasn't much there. I see much potential for this app. The sound quality is fantastic and fortunately for me the available channels fit with in my spectrum of enjoyment. My review does not address the problem of the two tuner2 apps. I found the one for 5.99 and have listened to 7 great quality songs up to this writing. Show more

Have 3 g so dont care about multitasking one of the best audio quality radio over ip period.

4.99 for multitasking when we already paid 8.99 for the original app is greedy. It's 1 star for now until I get over being burned. THIS IS BS HE ADDED BACKGROUNDING TO THE 8.99 tuner2 BUT HIDES IT. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Shady developer. Never again. That being said deep down it's still an excellent app. The backgrounding implementation is pretty good. It uses the pause and play button in the backgrounding bar of iOS 4. I just wish the forward and back buttons were programmed to go to next or previous favorite station or let us make a list of stations we want to cycle through. A favorite station playlist sort of thing. That would be awesome. As of right they don't do anything. Show more
