    Not Good
    Although I love the products, the app has been quite a let down. After recently adding an additional Naim product to my lineup, I was looking forward to streaming throughout my home. Unfortunately, when using the app, I met with digital playback gaps that render the listening experience unbearable, even inciting from other people in the room, “ please turn this off.” Show more

    Super buggy
    I connect to Spotify and it drops the connection regularly. I expected a better product considering the high price tag and that it’s Rolls Royce that makes it.

    Focal Bathys Software
    App works fine for the most part, although it is a little slow to load into each setting. The biggest issues is that any settings you have saved on the app do not work unless you’re using Bluetooth. So if you want to use the Focal Bathys while in DAC mode or with the 3.5mm cable, your EQ profile does not work and more importantly, the LED lights will be in the brightest setting and cannot be turned off. So if you’re on a plane or dimly lit environment, you will annoy everyone around you. Focal states the settings are stored on the headphones, but they do not specify that this is only in Bluetooth mode. Another issue is while using Bluetooth, if you have auto standby on (a good feature to save some battery) the headphones, while playing audio, will randomly go into standby mode and then immediately switch back. This wouldn’t usually be much of an issue, however, this seems to cause the headphones to “forget” your settings and revert to the default settings (Noise cancelling on high, EQ off, LEDs on high) and the app will NOT reflect this change. I obliviously went almost 2 hours on a late night flight without realizing, and when it’s dark, those LEDs will come off very bright. Aside from these issues, and pretty big oversights in my opinion, the app works relatively well and I’ve had no issues automatically connecting to my headphones. Focal please release an update to fix these issues, it can make traveling quite inconvenient (especially when you want to take a nap…) Show more

    Unstable
    On iOS: headphones connected…headphones disconnected…headphones connected…headphones disconnected …every 5 seconds back and forth within the app. Outside of the app, the headphones work fine and aren’t actually disconnecting at all. Weird. On android, works 90 percent of the time for focal baths. Show more

    What happened?
    App used to work well. Now, with a house full of $10k of Naim stuff, the new app can’t find any of the devices on the network 90% of the time. I would be embarrassed, if I were Naim. Show more

    Its clear that Focal doesn’t understand the significance of having a good Digital product
    Got the Focal Bathys Downloaded the app And then after every few minutes got a message ‘ bluetooth disconnected’ and cant use the app at all. Keeps happening all the time and cant access any feature of the app. That us a big No No. I would literally return the Bathys just because of a crap app. Show more

    Fine with Focal headphones
    Downloaded the app for use with Focal Bathys headphones. It is very simple and straightforward, no problems.

    Works fine until it doesn’t
    Everything works fine until one day it decides it won’t connect anymore. Reset the unit, made sure everything was up to date, tried every single connection combination possible. I keep getting stuck on “An unexpected error has occured”. Why is this still a problem? Show more

    Won’t stay connected to my Bathys headphones
    Giving it two stars because somehow after a dozen tries I was able to maintain a connection long enough to update the firmware. But almost immediately after connecting the app will say “Headphones Disconnected” and boot you out. Show more

    iOS 16 — naimaudio is now a brick
    Spent over 4 hours and 35 cycles of receiving can’t find device or unexpected error message. Great device when it works — but doesn’t work often. Would not buy the Muso2 again. And would return it if I could. Thoroughly disappointed with the app and the product which currently is a brick. Show more

    Excellent hardware, bad software.
    The software is very basic. It does not recognise cue file, and occasionally drops connection.

    Never had a problem with it in iOS
    I’ve never had a single problem with it using iOS, not even one. I don’t know what these other people are complaining about…

    Connectivity & Other Issues
    Consistently has difficulty connecting to Naim components. Internet Radio interface is clunky/outdated. Wish Naim would develop an app commensurate with their audio components!!

    Works Great For Me
    First time reviewing an app - but I had to throw in a good word seeing this app is getting a bad rap! I run with both iPhone and iPad and have almost no problems. We primarily use Tidal and HDMI through the TV. Show more

    Very Good sound, but awful connectivity
    My Muso sounds great. But its wifi connexion is totally unstable, as well as the application, especially under iOs. After two hours without success, I had to get my old Android phone to finish the set up. And now that it’s set up, the music keeps being interrupted, and I often cannot reconnect anymore without resetting the Muso. The app itself does not work well, the integration with Spotify very poor, so that I’m actually wondering what the purpose of the app is at all… very disappointed. The sound is excellent, bit the connectivity I find awful, which isn’t acceptable for a connected device… Show more

    Extremely poor design
    I have a Tidal subscription. I can login to Tidal via the app, but cannot select Tidal as the input in the UI.

    Basically Good with my Mu-so
    The Naim app works well for me. I am having an issue with a firmware upgrade, but I requested information from the Forum and expect it to be fixed shortly. If I have any criticism at all it would be adding a more beautiful visual user interface. I realize that Naim is not a huge company and so everything is a work in progress. The Mu-so is an AMAZING music player. I think the app will catch up… Show more
