    Works
Does what it is supposed to do. I would like to see a maximum readout added. Thanks!

    Works great on iPhone 5
Compared it to a high end db meter and it was with in a 3 db range of my phone. It seems to be closer to a db-c metering style.

    Decibel debacle
App crashes every time it's opened. Doesn't appear to do anything but crash. To add to that, its icon doesn't show up anywhere on the iPad so there's no way of getting rid of it! Real waste of time. Show more

    Useful, Straight-forward Sound App
One screen with an analog decibel meter. The steel background looks nice, the needle animation is smooth & realistic. Accurate enough for basic readings. I wish it had a retina display icon. Also, I'd be glad to pay for an Ad-Free version. Thanks, and God bless! Show more

    Thanks!
For people who know what a decibel is and want a quick reading subject to the limitations of an iPhone microphone, this is awesome—it does one thing and it does it with elegance and simplicity. Show more

    Pretty accurate and free!
This app seems to be pretty accurate. I compared it with my Radio Shack meter and it reads within a few db. Only change I would like to see is a digital readout in addition to the analog one. I think a lot of the negative reviews are from people that don't understand how sol meters work... Even in a room you think is "silent" a meter will still read 30-40db...that's just the way it is... As advertised
As stated by the other users, it works just fine. I compared it my spl meter and it's almost dead on. Spl is sound pressure level by the way. Like the others said, do your homework! Show more

    iOS 4.2.1
Doesnt even work with iOS 4.2.1
  • Thejonpearson, 27.04.2012
    Not working -iOS5 -3gs
Appears the AT&T 3GS also does not work with this app, at least on iOS 5. Needle sits at 0, occasionally jumps to somewhere in the middle, then drops back to 0. Show more

    Works
Works perfect. Those other who say the db level is too high don't understand what's a normal level. Come on people, do your research first

    Doesn't work
When it's dead quiet it says 50 dec.
