Awesome, but we need the ability to export our song as an audio file.

This app has a great concept, and I had fun using it, but I got bored too soon with the built in sound sets. The devs could really improve the flexibility of this app by allowing users to adjust the resolution of the loops (number of steps per loop, and number of 'notes' per instrument) and allowing users to use their own samples. if I could upload my own instruments, with more than 4 samples a piece, i'd be a happy guy. the ability to change the number of steps in each loop would really appease the experimentalist in me. (multiple, odd numbered loops that don't stick together... yum) overall, its good fun, and a nice concept, but at the moment, a little limited for my taste Show more

I love this app.. It's incredible but please please please, can we have more preset instrument choices? The ability to tweak them and create our own would be stellar! Exporting would be sweet. I really do love the set up.. Great app. Show more

I agree with the other reviews. Nice app, pro sounds. Would like to see better mixing controls and effects like reverb, delay, eq, etc. Mix down and export to wav would also be nice. Also needs audio copy and paste for use with other apps. Overall very nice job looking forward to updates and more samples. Show more

This is a GREAT app. Whether or not you are interested in this kind of thing, at least download the Lite version and try it out. The app is fun for those who are not musicians, and it is an incredibly powerful tool for amateur musicians like myself. At least TRY it. You will be dazzled. Show more

Easy to use, love the sound presets, keep them coming please. One idea for next version: allow user to rotate the disc while playing.

This is nice way to make beats and has a high "fun factor". The samples are pretty good and offer a decent variety of sounds. The interface is simple and intuitive, which makes this app stand out from other sequencers. My gripe is that the description states you can "arrange compositions", which I feel is misleading. You can merely manually change each of the four groups of sequences, which doesn't feel like arranging a composition at all. Adding the ability to record the changes live or being able to save an arrangement for playback would better match the description, and add a lot to this app. Overall, this is a great start for this app, but the features don't match the price, and that is regrettably disappointing. Hopefully future updates will fill in the gaps here, but right now buyer beware. Show more

Best way I've seen to work on sequences - brilliant! Love the circle. In order to make it professionally useful (may not be the intention but since sounds are quality it definitely is being used in music production). Needs control of volume, sample set, and pitch. This could easily be totally amazing if you added pitch and volume control with each sequence...and the ability to choose different sounds for each part...please update!!!!!!!!!

Best of the lot for all the beat making apps I've tried. Simple, visual and the samples are cool and the sets are well through out. Does not include pro end features like export and import, but it looks like developer is working on those. For the reviewer asking about the bar skip, just add a sound to the circle, then hold down on that spot to get the dot to appear. Show more

This is easily the most fun app for making music. Much better than so so so many of them. When they add effects and the ability to load your own samples it will make a cool "toy/bedroom play" app into a truly pro/performance tool. Love it!!!! Highly recommend. It is totally worth it. Show more

and finally, creating music visually. so much fun! great concept and great app, i love the slick and colorful wheels, the fast navigation and set up and the sets of sounds provided. so many possibilities. i brought my ipad to a friend's birthday party last weekend and played loopseque, was a smash hit! we had other live instruments - accordeon and flute. it was a great jamming experience! highly recommended Show more

In a myriad of iPad audio apps, that seem far too convoluted for the casual utilitarian vibe that is the iPad. Loopseque keeps its simple enough to keep your creative juices flowing without the intricate interface of its peers. The circular essence presents the patterns we hear as rhythms in form of circles. The only thing its missing is of course ones own ability to load your own sounds. For 5 dollars, this is way more of a value then some of these 10 dollar "full sequencers" ipad apps that often leave me wondering why I don't go back to my desktop for some Logic Studio or Ableton Live. Really entertaining and intuitive way to look at a pattern grid. I'd like to have recording capabilities as well as deeper (maybe editable) sound sets, and a simple mixer. But this is a really easy and fun way to create music. Also, please explain how the "dot" bar skip is created on a section - can't figure out how to do it consistently, but it's a great idea way to change the sound up. Show more

I'm very much a non musician. I love music, but i never learned an instrument myself. I've always wanted a very simple, visual way to play around and make up my own music. Sure this app is not going to make you a producer or composer but I love how simple, straight forward and easy it lets you play with loops. It's really fut to use and within a few minutes i had my own beat going. The biggest plus is really how easy it is to use even for someone like me how has no clue about playing an instrument or how to play music, yes i can play around with this and it actually sounds cool. I got to get this for my kids as well. Show more

This app is amazing. It is so versatile and covers a lot of basic features of trackers and does it so well. It may not have a ton to offer at the moment but I'm sure in future versions we'll be seeing some more amazing features (I read about there being sampling capabilities in an upcoming version). Worth the $5 hands down. Show more
