This app is a disgrace. It crashes every single time I try to start a song or switch to a new song. The interface is clunky. My library files themselves disappear from the iPad when the file is deleted from a playlist (without selecting delete from device). Erroneously deleted music files orphan albums with no files in them, which cannot be deleted manually, even after repeated attempts or app resets. I’ve lost countless music files this week, none of which can I get restored because PianoDisc corrupted my download account and hasn’t been able to restore my old files to my new account. For such an incredibly expensive system, the manufacturer should be appalled. Show more

The main reason most people would want to use this app is to be able to play music on their piano. This app does not download your music unzip the file into the my music section and therefore can not play. Big investment in a technology that doesn’t invest in developing a functional and user friendly product. Bad for customer enjoyment, bad for sales of piano disk music. What a mess! Simple to use interface that allows you to adjust volume of the speaker and piano separately to your taste from the app. However, there are a few shortcomings like the title abbreviation to... even bough here is more than enough screen space. Also, when you bulk import midi files, piano disc plays all he formats well, no matter if they are regular ones or disklavier hi definition ones. Sadly, the songs are imported randomly and you cannot sort them by date, name or anything else. You can only drag he songs manually in he order you want. Show more

When I go to play the complimentary songs that came from the app it has a terrible high pitched ringing and crackling sound with the accompanying track.

This is the worst app I have ever used. There is nothing intuitive about the app and EVERYTHING is problematic. Sad because it could be so great; they just need to hire people who actually have experience with designing and building apps. Show more

This has better volume control than using iTunes to play the PianoDisc player, but every time I go to a setting (like volume or balance) there is no way to get back to the app interface. Only thing I have been able to do is shut the phone down and reboot. Also, when I put the app on the phone, it downloaded the music I got from PianoDisc via their legacy exchange program, even though I had already loaded it all onto iTunes, so now I seem to have multiple copies and it tells me I am out of space to download music. Well, no wonder! There seems to be no way to sync between this app and iTunes. I may have to clean out iTunes and start over, only loading things I didn't get from PianoDisc. This app seems to be kludged together at best. After spending more than $4K to upgrade an older PianoDisc system with the promise of better dynamic range, I am disappointed. Show more

This needs to be updated yesterday! I'm unable to download all of my purchases. It's highway robbery! If I could give it zero stars I would.

Looks nice, but says I don't have enough available memory to download album. I have 8.48GB free. How much is needed? How do I get support?

Some rough parts, but overall this is a marked improvement for purchasing from the Piano Disc online web store and having them a show up automatically in the app. This was very much needed Needs clearer communication on when you successfully connect your Piano Disc store account to the app. No error messages are presented. This app is terrible. They must have hired someone who doesn't know how to write apps. I bought a bunch of songs from the store. Only one album downloaded. It has issues connecting to my account. It doesn't make it clear if it's downloading songs or not. It does the job, but the songs are insanely expensive (I mean, come on- it's a $6000 add on to a piano and the songs start at $8 each!?) Maybe they are trying to push you to the paid app? After spending $6000 on a player system, is think a good controller should be free. I'm pretty disappointed in general with this app and pianodisc. EDIT: I accidentally bought a song that was in an album I also purchased. Customer service was very fast to refund me, so at least the service is good. That got them another star. Show more

Crashes every time I try to run the app.

Can't even get through the tips without crashing. Pretty useless.

I have never been able to run the App. Like others, it crashes on the 5th page of the Tutorial. It sounds like a great App, but until it works, might as well continue with iTunes Show more

This does not work well, no real indexing, took forever to get my music from itunes into this app, freezes up, slow response, and cannot connect to account in store using phone number as my account is name and password! Really disappointed. Spend well over an hour on this, it really needs a lot more work to make it enjoyable, I appreciate that it is free but does not work well and you need to have the music on the ipad or iphone for it to work, which is not easy when you use iCloud Please fix and release update asap Show more
