Inspiration is fleeting, and when I want to write something down, it is almost an immediacy. This app is almost perfect for what Is except for the user interface, which act as more of an impediment than a utility. I really wish the developer would just fix the glitches so the app behaved as I know it was designed. Also, I sync using it's built in cloud btwn iPhone and iPad. One day - all 70 songs were magically gone from the iPad. This scared the crap out of me. I had to spend 30 minutes individually syncing to Dropbox for added security - I couldn't even do that all songs at once. My art is nothing to risk with a glitchy app potentially jeopardizing it's existence. Show more

It was a waste of my $2.99 ! It didn't do 95% of the things it says it does! I WOULD NOT suggest this app!

The app is good for thought organization and rhyme dictionary functions, but GUI needs work. For example, when you scroll through your blocks (chorus, verse, bridge) it tends to stick and won't let you scroll to another block. There's a better way to organize this app, I know there is. I still use this app for the word wheel thingy and the rhyme dictionary but I just use notes to write. They almost got it though. Show more

This app has a horrible menu interface. It crashes a lot. Even when doing regular things like navigating.

I have used this app to compose my last release (My Work Pages). It does a nice job of organizing structure while helping to write concisely. The built in thesaurus is a nice touch as well as the rhyming dictionary. Show more

This app is everything i could ask for. Except it crashes quite a bit and im always afraid of losing verses. Also the custom block doesnt work, the keyboard wont open Show more

Just wrote a great song. Got the lyrics down. Went to record voice. After i stopped the recording it crashed!!! losing all my work. That's unacceptable. It could of been a hit song. Thanks a lot songwriter. Show more

This app needs a zoom in zoom out feature An automatic scroll feature With a built-in voice to text feature Like dragon Does. when a song is created it would be nice Get phrases and metaphors As suggestions based on the title of the song So you can get your songs done a lot more faster and a lot more efficiently. this app as well really needs a Better and bigger database and a bigger and better Thesaurus, Thank you that would be greatly appreciated. Great app. Good sharing capabilities with text email & Dropbox. Can organize ideas nicely. The only thing missing: in recording mode, I would like more of a visual... kinda like apple gives with their voice memo app. It would be nice to "see" the phone audio input as you record. Show more
