Just what i was looking for. I love the sounds, features and most of all the ability to import/export. I really want to give it 5 stars but there is one feature that is missing that would make this an amazing app and that is the ability to adjust the midi notes (in the tape tab) in some sort of piano roll. Please update it would be a great feature for a wonderful app. Show more

This is a very capable synth. Beautiful sound quality. Virtual midi and audio copy make this a must for iOS music production. My only wish would be longer recording time. Otherwise perfect. Show more

This synth is done with class and style bringing an authentic feeling of an analog synth and delivering a powerful sound, while providing an abundance of features. Great job!

This app is great to use with Akai Synthstation 25 (the midi controller keyboard not the app) and DAW Multitrack. DAW Multitrack can play in the background while you record your performance in Nlog to an audio file that can be exported to the audio clipboard and pasted into DAW Multitrack. One limitation is that the recorder in Nlog is limited to 60 seconds so you may have to break up the performance into several copy/paste takes. Still very cool and useful anyways. Sounds like this 60 second recording limitation is on the developers to do list. Show more

This app is a piece of crap. It says it is compatible with iPads, but it isn't. This app also made me pay when I already bought it on. An iPod. Don't waste your money or time. Show more

Good sound engine, tons of tweakability. Works perfectly with akai synthstation and iPhone4. Love it, worth the $.

This is an amazing little synth. Actually, the only 'little' thing about it is that it fits in my pocket. The sounds are wide ranging and very musical. The interface is gorgeous and intuitive. Programming is super fun and surprisingly deep. Just pick up an Akai synthstation 25 and you are good to go!!! Oh, and only $1.99?! Seriously? If you like synths this is not to be missed. Show more

This is a nice synth with a lot of features, and I like that it works with the Synthstation 25.

I Brought this program thinking it would be an update. I Had Brought The Earlier Ver. and removed it then when i seen this new one i thought it was an update with the MIDI phrase Draped over the front. Everything is the same as the old version, nothing different other then they added MIDI and i got Charged Twice for One Product!!! You Can Not Make Complete Songs in it, it's just a synth...WOW What a P.O.S.! Unless I'm missing something, you can only import a midi file, choose a synth and play it back, but you can not save the audio of that playback. It NEEDS to be able to do this so that the audio can saved and/or be pasted into another app... Show more

It's a very good synth. I had the free version first and liked it and decided to get this. The tweakable parameters make this one of the best synths in the app store. However, the midi version only has a max polyphony of 4, while the free version's is higher. This makes playing chords harder when a sound requires unison. Show more

Excellent this app.. Now I am able to perform live with new keytar. I didn't want to buy a keytar cuz expensive..didn't want a synth..but I did want to use my rockband midi controller. Now I have the coolest and cheapest keytar ever! The effects on the app are just what I needed. Money spent well. Do your research first and see if what you want to do is capable. Or get iPod touch with live 6 midi adapter and download this app. Bam! Your done! Show more

I bought this app for the SynthStation25 and it works amazingly. Allows me to modify different factory settings and save the modifications. I like the ability to record short clips(30 seconds). I wish it could work on devices without IOS 4+ though so I could put it on my old 1G touch. Show more

Awesome with Akai Synthstation controller support!!! Going to be using it at the next show.

Finally, NLog can be played like a real synth. It works great with the Akai, haven't tried with CoreMIDI yet.

I enjoyed the over all feel n realistic qualities to the synth n adjustable knob features. Good Job guys it works well with beat maker

I have a bunch of analogue and digital synths and this compares well with the best of them with the added bonus you can play it anywhere. Huge variety of possible sounds. The performance knobs are a nice feature as well as the XY screen and the loop and recording capabilities. Amazing really. Show more

The best synth app for the Itouch/IPhone! Fat pro tones! Endless tweaking. I use it in my multi-track recordings. When it comes out for the IPad then I'll buy one!
