Crashes every time I try to open the app...

Love the music. - Sometimes repeats the same stuff too much at the same time of day each day (i.e. 7 am everyday sometimes same songs as 5 pm) - Controls are too small to touch in car. 128 is too high use while driving in 3G mode. - I wish we could give ratings to songs we like, like thumbs up or down. - I wish we could operate it from the lock screen. - have the app not lock screen or stream name of songs across screen Show more

Let me be clear: I'm not reviewing the content; The Blast is one my favorite online stations. I just have some serious issues with the way the app (v2.4) is designed. First off, the screen. On an iPad it wouldn't be a problem, but on an iPhone or iPod touch the controls are far too small and finicky for use when mobile. I have thin, precise fingers; I can't imagine how tough it would be for people with thick fingers to get the right stream. As a side note, I couldn't get the 32K stream to work at all. Background the logo and spread the selectors out a little — or better yet, make the bandwidth selection a preference so the main screen isn't so difficult to deal with in a car. The backgrounding mechanism, like the rest of this app, seems crude compared to some others I've used. In fact, it's not something that should ever have to be brought to the user's attention (let alone using up a screen in Mobile Safari). It's disconcerting to punch up the station, only to have it stop when the phone goes into lock mode because I forgot to explicitly background it. You may not find trance/progressive to be your kind of music, but anyone who wants to see how a great station-specific app is done should try out the AH.FM app. The AOL Radio app is also pretty good. I think TheBlast deserves an app at least as good as those. Show more

The app used to run fine but now when after starting it will play for several seconds and then stop playing even though app still tells me that it is playing music. I now find myself just playing the blast through the tunecast app that actually works properly. Please fix! Show more

I was a youth leader for 7 years and wished we had some hard core music like this and the last week I was there I found this app and turned them on to it. I play it every time I am in my car and let me tell ya I don't have a small radio in my car. I start this app turn the radio up to 30 (not as loud as it will go) and jam out. Must have for all rock music lovers. All for Jesus!!! Show more

I knew somewhere the music I love had to exist on a radio station. Where I'm from the Christian radio stations won't play Disciple, Decypher down or Red. Thankyou BlastFM for playing music that reaches out to the Lost. Awesome App!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Show more

Is reliable and plays great music. I don't know the radio frequency or the area the station plays in but this is pure awesomeness. Highly recommended.

I have been searching for this app (or one that would reliably play TheBlast.fm) since the original iPhone came out. Not all Christian music is soft or lame and TheBlast.fm shows people that. The app is simple, to the point (the music) and pleasant to use. I love the station and now the app! Show more
