    I love this!
Thank you very much for this. I have missed these old and cherished hymns. Now I can enjoy them whenever I want on my ipad. I appreciate the organ music as it brings back fond memories. Please thank the organist for me as these hymns make me very happy. Show more

    nice app.
only issue is that for example at today's UMC service, just 25% of the hymns were found contained in this song app. For the price, all songs should be available! Show more

    Excellent!
We go to a church that rarely uses these beautiful old hymns. This app is a lot of fun! This is an excellent tool to enjoy singing at home, if you enjoy these old classics. The music accompaniment is very helpful. A few audio files are missing but most are present. Show more

    Nice ap.
The sheet music is good, but the volume won't go quite loud enough. Overall though, I'm quite happy with it.

Ok...not as good as could be!
This would be nice to use in mobile situations but there is no reason to which accompaniments are available. At least put some indicator on those selections providing accomp. Also......all tunes need intro.......people don't just start singing! Show more

    Methodist Hymnal
This is a WEAK entry. It has hymns from the public domain that happen to be in the Methodist Hymnal. the same hymns seem to be in other collections. It ALSO would benefit from including all of the readings. We need ever improving app development for ministry. We need hymnals on keynote, for example. As we become savvier we can make sure copyright holders get their due and still use technology. Show more

    Hmmmm
Neither the arrangements nor the words are the same as in the Methodist Hymnal. The music that accompanies the hymns seems to be recorded, and is of marginal quality. It is, however, the only hymnal I have found, so, two instead of one star. Show more

    Works
Has a couple of songs with one or two words are different. Needs to be double checked. Hymn #327 has a page with absolutely no words whatsoever.

    Portable hymns
I like to include hymns in my devotional time. This has both words and music so I can learn new hymns and enjoy old ones. I have hard copies of many hymnals but they don't travel as easily. The four part music is great to provide a basis for cords I can play on guitar. Show more

    Good but needs improving
I like the idea of having the hymnal on my iPad. But it needs to be compete and there are errors in the words (and sometimes music) all over the place. I will use it but for accuracy I have to check every hymn's text against the book. Would be nice to be able to annotate or fix things as I find them also. Show more
