Perfect app except missing current play button.

I use this and the Winamp version all the time! My only minor gripe is that on newer phones with larger screens, I feel like the UI is too cluttered and I'm unable to rotate the orientation. On my iPhone 4, it displays just the right information without looking too cluttered. Show more

Slick UI, responsive, highly customizable, dev cuts regular releases. Streaming is another .99 but is obviously worth it. You basically get full control of your preferred PC playback client. If you're smart enough to hate itunes you'll love it Show more

Unrecoverable playback error every time I try to start a track with the remote.

Works flawlessly. Better than Apple's Remote by a long shot, functionally. Interface is less than perfect, though, and sometimes a little clunky. Paid streaming for a 2-dollar app feels like a bit of a push. Show more

I have been a long time linux music server user based on mpd or Logitech Media Server. My problem with mpd is that remote control apps on iOS are mediocre at best. Recently I discovered that the *sound quality* of Windows Server Essentials 2012 surpasses all the other OS'es, when properly configured (yes, that is right). Long story short: I'm evaluating Windows Server 2012 with Foobar2000 and wasapi component as a replacement for 5 years of Linux sound. After enabling firewall access for Foobar2000 and installing the required component, remote control works like an out of the box experience. What makes me really, really excited is that this app is the first one I know supporting 'composer tags'. With a library of classical music, this is the first time I'm able to open the app and look for 'something Strauss', no other app offered me this feature. Thank you so very much! Show more

I was looking for a way to control foobar from my phone when I'm not at the computer. This does it perfectly! And it is accessible with Apple's voiceover, and has high contrast options for low vision users. So it's perfect for the cited in the blind. You can't get much better than that. Show more
