    I’m shook
This is a very impressive program. I mostly use it to write lead sheets for my band. I was (still am) shook that, when you transpose the music, it automatically transposes the written chord names for you. I was preparing to have to edit them one at a time but the program does that for you. These developers have thought of everything! Show more

    SO Much Improvement!!
When I first tried Symphony Pro, I was frustrated by how many bugs there were and how frustrating it was to work in. Version 6 has changed my mind completely. I am very impressed. Up until now, Notion was my go to for music notation. I think that may change. Excellent. I can recommend this app whole heartedly. Also, the chord diagram function is what it should be. Make this capable of scale diagrams and my crossover will be complete. Show more

    It’s Good, but not great
Symphony pro is by far the best symphony software i have found for mobile. That being said, it’s still far from perfect. The recording function is awful because of the delay and the size of the keyboard. The app forces you to use the note function. This function is good, but significantly slower than recording. I’d rate this app a 3.6. Show more

    Great when it doesn’t crash
This is a great notation program. I’m a percussionist and am constantly composing and arranging music for my private students and percussion ensembles. This is by far the best program I have found for drum notation. I like that I can export as PDF or audio via email or print and I can use colored note heads. Lately the program has been glitchy and every time I try to create a new project it crashes. Please do an update!!! Show more

    Crashes!
I just paid $15 for an app I cannot even use. I cannot even open a score to begin writing. I’m seriously annoyed! Ridiculous

Great notation app, but touch input has become difficult
Version 6 adds many good features, but it is now difficult to enter notes using touch input in Write Mode. After you’ve entered the first note of a chord, it won’t let you enter a note a second or third interval above or below (it instead selects the previous note for editing) or a seventh or octave above (it selects the stem symbol). It won’t even let you enter the matching note after a tie (it selects the tie symbol). This would be easy to fix: you should need to switch to Select Mode to select non-note symbols, and Write Mode should only select a note when you touch it directly, not one or two staff positions away. Please allow us to write notes in Write Mode and Symphony Pro will once again be a 5-star app. Show more

    Four Stars: Excellent, but Glitchy
This is an excellent application. The reason one star was redacted is due to the fact that it will kick me out of the app at times.

    Crashes all the time.
Self explanatory. I think the app needs many more techniques and it needs to save more often.

    almost unusable
The old version was great. The new one is almost unusable. It is SOOO FRUSTRATING! How can I get the old version back. Bugs. Needlessly complicated. Show more
