    I couldn't figure this out, and I wish I hadn't bought it.

    HORRIBLE! Where
This application is horrible. For those of you Finale or noteflight users who like to write sheet music, don't waste your money on this. It's very hard to write sheet music on this program, and for those of you who just want to experiment with writing music - STAY AWAY! Only if you are a guitarist, should you even consider getting this app (which I'm not because I'm a saxophonist), when it advertises for sheet music. Even my guitarist friends have tried to figure it out, with little luck, and barely progressed through chords. Besides, shouldn't a music writing program have more advanced features? These are very minimal, and aren't even fun or easy to use. Tough luck for the people who bought it, so you've been warned to stay away. I am absolutely in detest, for wasting my money on this program. Show more

    questions
I can't open my GP5 documents in this program???

    Not very intuitive
This app is alright, but not very user-friendly. I'd rather write it out by hand to be honest; and I've used Finale in the past. Finale is actually easier to get into. Not very impressed for my little $10. Show more

    very confusing
I downloaded this app a while ago, and it looks like theres a lot of potential for it, but it is so confusing to simply put some notes on a staff. Not worth fussing around with... just get finale or sibelius. Show more

Great as long as you save often.
This app is great. As long as you save often that is. I use this app all the time for my song writing. But it will close on you from time to time. If you save often this is not a problem. Amazing app with great instruments, not just guitar. I highly recommend this application. Very useful for guitarists! Show more

    Cheap, easy, and feature-packed
One feature I really wish it had: "Save/Export as .ptb" That'll give it 5 stars. I'm glad I didn't buy Tablatures. I play ukulele, and it's much easier to change the string count/layout with Reflow than with the aforementioned. It is so much easier and has an awesome chord library, and a fret/keyboard simulator. Plus it's much cheaper! Show more

Good ideas for the interface, but needs lots lots lots of work
I have GuitarPro 6, and was looking for a snappier replacement. OK you will pay $10 for this app Vs. $60 for GP6, but is not a replacement for it (not even close) This app crashes constantly, needs a lot of work under the hood. You have some good ideas for the main interface (Meaning the sidebar with all the instruments and song sections, the Browser, which needs to be in the same app screen and not a separete window BTW.) Keep working on it, you might have a good app later that is worth $10, but not at this stage the app is unusable. Hope I receive some updates soon, otherwise I gave $10 away for an app I will never use. Show more

    Alright, but...
This app is good for guitar tabs and guitar guys...I play sax and need a more Finale-like notation device, and this doesn't provide that

    1.0.1 Rocks!
The update definately delivers. Simple and sweet! Thank you.

    Very Confusing
I am a drummer, not a guitarist, but I like to have neat sheet music. This looked like a simple and quick way to jot down playing ideas I have. I did not read any reviews before buying this, and I have now been frustrated for 30 minutes, not figuring out how to write simple notation parts for a drum kit. This is a great idea but needs serious work with the interface... I have yet to figure out how to even write out a note in the drum kit score.... ugh! Right now this remains a waste of $10 until an update comes out that can hopefully fix some of this. Until then I do not reccomend this app at all. Sorry Show more

    Worst Apple Program
This is awful. I was expecting a user friendly program for creating music and this is what I get. Waste of money and time.

    Reflow needs REWORKED
I had great hope when I purchased this APP. I play more than Guitar so I dont use TAB, I have been unable to write STANDARD NOTATION? The Tutorial is fine for tab but ends too soon. Perhaps these Devs were in a hurry and the app will improve, I'll keep trying and wait for updates. The inspector needs some work too. Great effort but not there yet. KSA Show more

    Nice, simple, but buggy.
Thought this would be a great app. But, it's half baked at the moment. Crashes a lot. The user interface does not follow any of the common standards that most DAWs follow. Like the play and pause button should work when you hit the spacebar. A note palette would be great as well. Also, I was expecting to use the right mouse click for a lot of functions, and it is not available to use anywhere in the app. So, you are forced to use the menus at the top of the screen, which is time consuming. This could be a great app, but they released it a bit too early. Look forward to MAJOR UPDATES after paying for this app. Show more

    Great App.. but Minor Problems
Love how you can import guitar pro files. That was my main reason for buying Reflow, but besides being great at importing guitar pro files there are some annoying problems that need to be addressed. First off the browser is a great way to show all the files, but it needs a delete option and it would be great if we coudl update the information of each file within the browser. Secondly the interface is confusing. It took me forever just to get some ideas down, and everyone knows once a great riff our chord progression hits you, it leaves just as fast. In conclusion, a faster and friendlier interface would be magical. Lastly, there are some things missing from the guitar tab. like bends to another note (there is a bend feature but it doesn't correctly display on the main notation window), hammer-on and pull-off symbols, and also it doesn't allow me to sustain one note from one string and then play other notes after and on top of that ringing note (this is especially annoying because I am an acoustic guitar player and I do this all the time). Anyway just a few problems, and I'm sure they will be fixed in upcoming updates. All in all, it's a great app and so far it is worth the $10. Show more

    It needs work
Tried to use this yesterday when I bought it.. Tried to use the inspector and was REALLY BUGGY. It will be worth the money, compared to other similar music writing software, once it gets updated and de-bugged. It has very good potential, and I look forward to future updates. For anyone looking at this app, keep it in your sights. Show more

    Puzzling UI
Was having a moment of inspiration last night and wanted to jot down a few ideas. So I opened Reflow, and after struggling with the UI for 20 minutes, failing to get any of the ideas down or hear more than a few notes come out of the software, I gave up. Neat idea, totally cryptic UI! Show more

I'm not giving 4 stars to what is out now, but...
I'm giving the 4 stars to what could be. I have high hopes for this app, and the developers are very active on their support forum and are very responsive. This is an extremely young app, and I think it will be killer. Right now, it's NOT a replacement for GP, but it is slimmer and a little more "mac". Keep it up. Show more
