This is a great app. All my videos like AVCHD, MKV and WMV to MP4, works very well and quick. Highly recommended.

I'm quite disappointed that I purchased this software. In an effort to have one of my streaming devices play a season I'm very interested in watching, I purchased this software to convert TS to MKV. So - two hours and 50 minutes later (for a single 40 minute episode, only 4GB) - I go ahead and get do a test run on the iMac that converted the video (12GB Memory, 3.4Ghz quad core i7…) and the video is out of sync at exactly 33 seconds. Tried 5 more videos…same thing…though the time varied slightly. Don't recommend this garbage at all if you actually want AUDIO that is in-sync with your Video. Though…they did call it a VIDEO CONVERTER for a reason, I guess. We're all fools. Don't make the same mistake I did. Show more

This is a good app and it converts videos just fine, however whenever I use it, it always cuts the videos short by about 5 seconds.

I have been using this converter for the last seven months and have been reasonably satisfied, until this latest software update. Before I occasionally ran into errors while converting a file, but this could almost always be fixed with app restart or computer restart. Three days ago this app worked fine. After installing the update however everything I try to covert fails. I even tried converting a file that I ran through this same converter two months ago and even it fails. If you already own this app DO NOT update, if you haven’t bought it yet DO NOT. Show more

subtitle option is not working please help me

It was the best app for converting files especially ts formatted files. Ever since the update it has not worked the same. Not a fan at all.

…Now it completely refuses to convert more than 21 seconds of video no matter how long it is. Dissapointing waste of $15.

It doesn't work. It crashes all the time, it doesn't convert some video formats. I just want my money back. This app should be taken out of the app store to be fixed first and avoid the user to spend time, money with something that needs development. I am not R&D lab for any developer. Does just about everything I need it too, except it won't open mp4 audio files? It works for mp3 though...

I purchased this to convert just one video. I expected something as simple as a "Convert" or "Save As" where it then prompts me for the format and output location. But no! It tooks a good 5 minutes to figure out this simple step. And the output? It goes by default to a folder named "com.leawo.macvideoconverter". Not intuitive by any stretch. Show more

There are a few nice features with this software and it ultimately gets the job done. I've never had a sync issue even after encoding 2+ hour videos. My gripe, however, is that it takes forever. When converting .avi files to something iTunes compatible, it takes much, much longer than Quicktime's built-in .mov converter and considerably longer than Toast or Video Monkey (the latter which is free). For some odd reason, you can't automatically add the files to iTunes once converted. there are better options out there, and some of them are free. Show more

Before the update, this was one of the best video converters for the price. Now, it's not even worth the space on your drive. The conversion speed dropped to a crawl, and the audio is out of sync by around five seconds. This isn't right. This has been a known issue for some time now and the developers won't do anything about it. Show more

The first version I had worked great, now since the update IT TAKES FOREVER TO CONVERT A VIDEO from one format to another!!!!! AHHHH Please fix this!!!!!

Clean UI but the functions are powerful. I like it! I can edit my video, add my personal profile with it. And I found it's so convenient that I can merge all of my videos to one video. Tha't so great. What's more, the output video quality is great. This software match to my requirements so much. So I mark it 5 stars. Show more

If you haven't updated your copy, DON'T! Initially the updated version wouldn't even open. Fortunately, I keep a copy of all of my applications on an external hard drive, for this very reason. So they suckered me into updating it again, by issuing yet another update that mentioned that it fixed the non-opening issue. That's true, it did open. That's the only good thing that I can say about the app now. It opens. Beyond that, it's now a lousy video converter. You have to fight with it every step of the way, because it wants you to do things ITS way. It wants you to use the folders (in the locations) that IT creates. Functionality: thumbs down. User friendliness: thumbs down. Pulling the wool over your eyes: thumbs up! As I said, I keep copies. So one more time, I deleted the updated version of the app and copied the original version to my MacBook Pro again. I'll keep my eye on the updates, to see if they mention anything about reversing all the "improvements" that they made. Sheesh! Why bother issuing a new version of an app that works? More on point — why RUIN a perfectly good video converter with an update? The developers certainly don't have me looking at other apps they have made. This is the perfect example of "fixing" something that isn't broken. As of now, I'm avoiding their updates and their other apps. Too bad. Show more

i love this app !!! First of all , its completly no hassle... Very easy to use and it can convert any video format within minutes .. It lets you choose from a HUGE variaty of devices !! It converts two videos at a time and is very FAST !!! I LOVE IT !!! Show more
