The new update with a name change simply doesn't open!!!! Uninstalled and resinatlled - same thing. This is NOT good...

Thank you so much for this update. I had bought this sofware two updates ago and after the first update the app crashed all the time on me and had all kinds of weird issues. I finally found an extremely time consuming work around but I was actually considering buying a different app but I just kept telling myself to wait it out for the update and I'm glad I did. My biggest problem I had with the previous update was that bulk conversions didn't work at all and I convert on average 5-10 videos a week so it was definitely a pain to do each one one at a time. This update fixes it all and now I can rest easy and walk away and get other things done. The interface is definitely a little more streamlined and the categories took me some time to get used to, because it's done by device like iPhone, but once you pick a format it stays as the default (at least through my experience) when you open it up next time. I always use .mp4 so I doubt I'll have to change it again. It does feel like there are a lot options that are missing, but sometimes having so many different options can be a little taxing especially to set it for each batch. I would like the option to pick the destination folder for each batch to be available on the window itself as opposed to buried in the preferences if that's possible. In the end one day I'll buy a camera that automatically records in .mp4 format but until then converting videos is a breeze again with this new update. Show more

would have said this was a must have app but with the update and interface changes and HORRIBLE prefs menu I wouldn't pay a dime for it. would like my $$ back... Show more

bought to convert MWV with G2M3 and it does not work

this piece of dookie failed to load a simple wmv file, what a gip

I have tried a bunch of others and they all crashed or froze or put watermarks on them. This just works and gets the job done. All kinds of formats! Great job on the app. Show more

I used Video Converter to convert a .wmv file (recorded in 16:9, but saved as 4:3) to a .dv file. I was able to import it into iMovie and clean the video up more. Could not have done it without this inexpensive program. Yes I lost quality because of transcoding, but that's no fault of the converter. Works, and quickly. Show more

It has been able to convert to and from any of the formats that I use. Even has detailed devices that you can convert to. Best of all the sound and video match. Hard to find a decent video converter and this one defenatly one of my top rated. Show more

Just purchased this app today hoping it will help me....but I can't even use it because all it does is crash. Such a rip off!!!

I have encoded several seasons of a TV shows and by the end of each 45 minute episode the audio is out of sync with the video. Sometimes by up to a few seconds making the video unwatchable. Do not recommend it at all. Show more
