The new features Look great, but the app makes no sound on my ipad (running ios 5x). Developer website appears to be down so I am forced to write this here. If this problem gets fixed, I will add lots of stars but right now Omguitar's just 246 megabytes of wasted space. Looks nice, though. Show more

Amazingly realistic and easy to use! Well worth the money!!!

Just been using since yesterday. Many, many features to explore. Not for the faint hearted. Very complex user and setting controls.

Has 4 stars cuz would be simply awesome to have alternate voicings as well. Awesome app! Thanks guys!

I'm not particularly impressed with this app. It sure does look pretty as do all of their apps but this one in particular is glitchy. There are much better options in the app store. Show more

Thank you for realizing how many of us still use iPad 1, it was getting frustrating watching one app after another become unusable, especially when we bought them. Apple should have given us iOS 6.0 with everyone else. I love this app, and the improvements are remarkable. Now, if you know anyone who controls GarageBand, see if they can show a heart as well lol. Sound won't play ?

OMGuitar came out with high expectations, and for me much excitement. Then dead silence for a long time. That left me feeling angry for having paid the launch price based on Amidio setting expectations for new content, and improvements "soon". Those just didn't come, until now. Better late than never. This is a uniquely designed guitar simulation, with a pretty cool interface and sound. Nothing replaces the real thing, but this comes pretty close and is at least a competent substitute for situations where a real guitar isn't an option. I can't explain it but my first 2 WiFi downloads came with what I thought were app bugs. Not so. I deleted and then re downloaded while connected to my computer with iTunes and everything was fine. Sounds and plays great! With Audiobus support added, OMGuitar becomes even more usable than ever. Just the kind of update to make me happy and forgive the long wait. Worth all of the $5. Show more

Audiobus and Midi. Updated to 5 stars because of Audiobus and midi. Absolutely great update of everything. Sounds are amazing. Metronome would be nice. Hats off to the Devs. Looks like you may have room for a chord chart in upcoming update. Show more

I just used it and think it is different in a great way. Easy to use. Lots of features. Best guitar yet. Definitely worth getting.

The picture labeled Electric Telecaster is actually a picture of a Gibson SG. You'd think they know the difference. They should probably fix that.

Over a year and no updates. An otherwise excellent app that sounds like a real guitar...what a shame. Will give 5 stars if devs show some support.

Please update, please update, please

This was one of the very first apps I ever bought when I was new to iPad last year. I soon discovered it was a bit pricey compared to other apps, but the worst thing is the developers went AWOL after a great start (clever app and slick promotional videos, etc.). They make other apps, but OMGuitar is by no means the least of them, so I can't understand what happened to their priorities. I read on their website months ago an update was coming but, of course, it never did. I would recommend not buying the app regardless of price until they resume actively supporting it and fixing glaring bugs. Most every other app I have is updated continuously. Show more

Really the best app guitar in appstore. i can simply play hotel california, price tag and many more. my only prob is my bluetooth headset which is delay when playing the guitar. hope for fix. love you guys and more power. Show more

I wish they made this similar to futulele. Or at least the option to strum and hold chords easier and more natural. It's uncomfortable, and unnatural feeling. Want my money back, because I don't use this app. Show more

Maybe nice for a novelty or gag but not a serious musical instrument for musicians. The delay is intolerable. also bugs and inconsistencies with the sustain on new iPad at least. Show more
