Excellent for getting reccords into iTunes easily
I've now used VinylStudio for importing about 10 albums into my iTunes library. I found this software to be an excellent tool to import the music, fix problems, and output an AAC file directly to iTunes. The interface is simple, not elegant, and allows the user to walk through the steps easily. The defaults generally work so the process is quick. Features I really like are that it starts recording automatically when the needle goes down, it does look-ups of tracks and album art (usually with many choices), one-button fix for pops and ticks, and the simple output. I have put off this process for years and now, with VinylStudio, I'm finally getting the job done. I'm enjoying bring out my favorite old albums and listening to the great music while I digitize the record. BTW, I have a turntable from the 80's hooked up to an ARTcessories USB Phono Plus. I highly recommend this also. Show more

    Easy Yet Flexible
I bought a USB turntable for my substantial vinyl collection. The software that came with it was such a POS I thought I had just blown my $$$, but VinylStudio made me a believer. The software is so automatic that you can literally drag and drop your needle and be on your way. However, it has many adjustable parameters for even a picky music lover like myself. Thorougly worth the price. Show more

    VinylStudio - I Works Great
This software makes recording LP records and getting them into iTunes easy. The tutorials shows you how to hook up your turntable and how to navigate the various application screens. There are just a few steps, and within in a few minutes you have your LP in iTunes with all the tracks split and named correctly, plus the album art. This is a "no brainer" for those of us who are not experts in other audio software packages. Additionally, the package appears to be designed to do much more, but in its non-expert mode it does a great job. I highly recommend purchasing it, it will save you a huge amount of time, and reduce the amount of frustration associated with converting a collection of LP into iTunes songs. Show more
