Downloaded this app to my mac book it worked initially then it chrashed. I downloaded the 3.4.3 version not sure if thats the issue. Also the app doesn't update my itunes library when a new song is purchased or added. Show more

Don't waist your money! App with horrible watermark in the screen. You have to pay more to get the full version.

Tried to map to DDJ-SX which worked for one Gig then corrupted settings - vinyl jog only works on channel A. Software needs better integration with more controllers. Ugh help!

I use the Mobile App on a Samsung smartphone, and the touch interface, beat matching, and effects are outstanding! I find that the OSX app tends to be too similar in interface to Serato, which seems a slight handicap when compared to the functionality and intuitive feel of the mobile/tablet app. I wish the interface was less similar to Serato and more like the mobile/tablet version of CrossDJ. Especially the FX pads and sample interface. Hot-Cues or “set/play locators” are not fast enough to be useful, and the use of them is cumbersome in my opinion. The strength of the software comes with it’s seamless integration with Soundcloud. The ability to play music directly from Soundcloud, which is a high quality streaming service, makes Cross-DJ a go to in the case of the rare and exotic self-published songs when DJing private events where the audience has “heard it all”. The sound processing for real-time is fast and convenient. Track analysis is the fastest I’ve experienced on OSX using a could service. Playback is always smooth and stable, the algorithm for adjusting the speed of BPM for a constant pace buffers very quickly and does not get as much credit as is due - the soundcloud feature-set is incredible! I use Rekordbox DJ (Pro-App) for my main workflow, so I dont expect to get the same experience for 1/4 the price. This App has potential to surpass it’s competition if it were able to integrate playlist info and cloud access to Spotify. I hope to see a Spotify sync feature for this software to continue as a part of my workflow. If it offered sync with Spotify, it would be easily worth double the price. To be fair, there’s alot here that I dont use like the video controller or the DVS which are both amazing on their own. For me I perfer a down and dirty DJ mixing software, I dont need the bells-n-whistles. The last thing worth noting is the sound ‘boosting’ that happens with some software. iTunes for the most part is a ‘flat’ sound - no EQ settings or gain controls. Spotiy is gain heavy, and will balance the values of any part of a track to sound good even on junk systems. Serato, and Pioneer Rekordbox DJ both have great ‘full’ sound by default - and both sound almost as good as vinyl in some cases depending on the source material. CrossDJ has a neutral sound quality and is much like iTunes for direct sound output with little pre-amp boosting, EQ or gain. The result is a quality sound output with very slight distortion (neutral) and amazing beat analysis. Show more

Mixing music could not been any easier. Easy to use and very user-friendly, you can mix and match any tracks and loops. Perfect DJ app for mac users.

Absolutley amazed at this app. There's no DJ app that's better than this one. When looking for an app for music shows, or small parties.. This one beats them all. My number 1 choice, Thanks to the developers. Keep it up!! Show more

This app has the potential to be a game changer for DJ’s if it worked. It crashes quite often, and doesn’t support most of the current controllers to date. I can’t manually map my controls because the software does not recognize it. Until it receives another update the software will be virtually useless. Show more

I downloaded it and I can’t locate it in my dashboard or finder not only that but I can’t even open it off the app store when I click open this is basically stealing money! Show more

A forum that ignores apple users, no other way to communicate with Mixvibes cross dj people. This app crashes almost everytime I close it. It crashes in the middle of playing music. Apple told change administrators on my mac, restart in safe mode, unistall and reinstall this app. Either take this app out of the app store or give people back there money. If you cant deliver a quality product just put it out there for free. Show more

After using this program for one hour, it crashed. When I try to re-open it, it will not respond.

I was really excited when purchasing the full version of Cross DJ after using the free version for awhile. However, after a day of using it, the application keeps on crashing. Everytime I open the application, it crashes. Please Cross DJ fix this bug as I want to continue mixing with the full version and not use the free version! Thank you. Show more

I like Cross DJ, it’s really fast at searching your iTunes library and stable. Two things I would like to be able to change: 1) Support multiple audio devices: an external audio source for main output and internal output for monitoring/cueing. There is no routing mode for multiple audio devices, just multiple outputs over a single audio device. 2) I would also like to be able to turn off the downbeat generation. Cross DJ has this behavior where it determines the first downbeat and then start the player at this position. For a lot of my tracks, this is around 3-5 seconds into the track. I have to manually adjust the start position to avoid cutting off the beginning seconds of the track. Show more

Purchasing and owning DJ equipment can be pretty expensive! Luckily though, MixVibes have created Cross DJ that combines the software and hardware into one. Cross DJ might not be the best known DJ Controller. Yet this app has much to recommend it. It is stable, runs on multiple platforms and is feature rich without useless features. It also supports a variety of DJ MIDI controllers. Granted I am not an expert, however, with the app it is easy to learn and catch on. So with that in mind, that’s the beauty of Cross DJ, it’s perfect for beginners or even professionals. Show more

Love this app but version 3.3.3 crashes when i change from the normal view to any other view. reinstalled 3.2.1 but it wont work with the New Itunes Update… Thought you should know… Show more

Recent update of Cross DJ ($29.99 version) will not open on my macbook. It gives an error message. It keeps saying Cross DJ quit unexpectedly and doesnt allow it to open even when the reopen option is chosen. This is disappointing. Show more

This app is exactly what I needed. It is very featureful. It works for both expirienced and beggining users. The audio/video support is also very nice. The interface looks professional and is easy to use at the same time. Definantly a must-buy app for anyone thats interested in Djing. Show more

I love this software. It is what I used to get started and I have come to be very comfotable with it. I recently upgraded my DJ controller however, to a Pioneer DDJ-SR. There is mapping for the SB and the SX but no SR. It still works but not as fluetlny as im used to. Serato came with my controller and I have been trying to get used to it but Cross DJ is just so simple and I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. So in a later update can you PLEASE map the Pioneer DDJ SR PLEASE. Otherwise fantastic product. Show more
