    Worked As Advertised
Wanted a simple tuner that would use my iPhone mic to ensure my Baby Taylor was in tune while I am on the road hold-up in hotels rooms. Worked like a charm. Sir A m4G Show more

    Difficult to use
The fluctuations on the scale moves too fast and isnt very accurate..it works sometimes but makes the tuning process longer

    Not so good any more
No longer recommended! The latest revision of this app removes what was the best feature of this tuner: its dual dial display. The new display is twitchy and harder to read, so it's no longer easy to get a precise tuning on your instrument. I'll be deleting this app and looking for a better one. Too bad. Old review: Works well, responsive, precise, with an easy to interpret display. It has an ad promoting their other apps, and an advertising strip along the bottom of the screen, but it isn't too obtrusive. The problem that some reviewers experienced, displaying a G as a D, or displaying an E as a B, is common to electronic tuners -- the tuner is latching on to a note a fifth above, responding to the harmonics of the string rather than its fundamental. The tuner still works: center the needle and the note will be in tune. It's just the note identification feature that is making the wrong choice. And the error, if any, will always be exactly a fifth -- it won't mislead you by displaying a note off by a semitone or two. Not ideal, but you'll see it in lots of electronic tuners, and it doesn't really affect the utility of the app -- even a tin ear can tell if the note is off by a fifth! Show more

    Don't download
Useless. Will not tune my A string. I have to borrow someone else's tuner when we want to play.
