    A Start, but Seriously...
I'm giving three stars on concept alone. As a professional songwriter and producer, I create the track files and need to upload the raw music tracks and use those to sing and write to. You'll need an update that includes an essential iTunes or mp3 import function. You can't have a decent application of this sort without that. Kudos to you if you put a rush on that function - I was hoping to use this app for my summer tour rewrites this year. Another convenience which would go with a claim of "HD", at the LEAST, would be landscape. Thanks for the effort! Regards, David Sovereign, Jahari Records America Show more

    Basic, could use some additions
Basically this app has multiple recorders, which can be great when you are working on different takes of the same material, or if you want to do different sections. For the price I would like to see some options, beyond simple text and recorders, for instance the ability to do landscape. Seems expensive for no more than you get in comparison with other apps. Useful
Pretty simple, straight forward app. No bells, whistles or anything to learn. Type in your lyrics for a particular verse, chorus or bridge (you can edit the heading to create a bridge, etc) then you can record each with the touch of a button You can slide each around to change arrangement. Very useful for me as when I am penning a tune, I will sometimes forget how I exactly did the vocals or play it (I play guitar), or when I come up with a new song/lick sometimes I can never duplicate it. It's great to be able to record the idea so easily as it pops into my head and pen the lyrics at the same time without busting out a bunch of recording gear. I did notice a bug...if any particular line is to long it shows up fine in edit mode, but then in main screen only part of that verse or chorus (whichever) will be visible. Easy work around is just to shorten lines in edit mode. Very limited but useful little app. Not that you'll really need it, but no support at all from company either (before finding work around it would have been kind of nice to be able to at least email someone to ask) Show more
