I love TC Electronic - but they are doing a very poor job supporting their apps. Since loading this app, my flashback mini delays lights blink appropriately when i send a toneprint, and then turn off and don’t come back on until I unplug the pedal - and the toneprint doesn’t change. I just figured out that you have to choose the pedal exactly - if you’ve got a Tc mini flashback, the Tc Mini flashback 2 toneprints DO NOT work - even if they have the same name. The algorithm is diff for the same patch for the diff level of the pedal (probably because of the mash function on the flashback 2). So make sure you use the version of each toneprint that is meant for your pedal. This needs to be fixed. One other issue - on the TC site, the last firmware update shows as 2011 in one place and 2019 in another, and the 2019 won’t download to my pedals even when hardwired to my Pc. The pages on the app menu when you go for help go to nowhere - it says the locations don’t exist. This is really bad, and something I’ve never experienced with TC. This kid of invalidates one of the big selling points for TC’s pedals, doesn’t it. You can hardly use the app. I have restarted the phone. I have re-installed the app. I installed it on an iPad. Same issue. Select a pedal and then it crashes. TC needs to fix this or I am returning my pedals. Edit: this seems most specific for selecting the hyper gravity comp. full sized or mini. Show more

The TonePrint app is an enormous swing and a miss. It has literally crashed just before beaming a tone through my pickup every time since I bought the Flashback 2 x4. I’ll be returning this and the Hall of Fame 2 x4 as soon as the holidays are over. Would give it zero stars if I could. Show more

Constantly crashes even after few updates. C’mon TC what’s going on?!

Im not sure what ios the other reviewer had but mine is working as described, i have the corona chorus mini, i didn't really care for the pedal but thought i would give the tone print a shot, glad i did, its super cool and beams from my phone to my pedal through my guitar pickups, the library is huge, i like the walking on the moon chorus and the original scf chorus flanger totally sounds like eric johnson Show more

App crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME you try to beam the TonePrint

This is a useless app. Is any one trying to fix it.

I have had my pedal for about six months & only now am I getting into the TonePrint feature. It’s amazing how much more you can pull out of this pedal with the TonePrint. I’m hooked. I’ll be getting more TC pedals with this feature for sure. It’s a shame about the bad reviews this app has received. Don’t let them scare you away from trying as it did me at first. I’m truly blown away that my iPhoneX can shoot information through My Seymour Duncan all the way to the last pedal in my signal chain & unlock dormant features. Show more

Frequently crashes or won’t open at all. iPhone 7, iOS 12.4

Before it was pretty decent, it took many moons to load but once it was loaded it worked well. Now that it’s been updated it’s been trying to open for a good 20-25 minutes with no success. Kind of annoying because their pedals are great and they put a lot of time into making patches with incredible musicians to have a piece of software which makes it useless. The beaming feature is supposed to amazing, but it only worked one time. Has not worked since. I can still dial in a delay with the editor through my phone so I guess that is a plus. I have an Apple iPhone 8 Plus. Disappointing that is. Show more

I’v never been able to get this to work. Sure, it worked right in the store but once I got the amp and box home, I’ve had zero success changing my TonePrints using this app. I mean, it still works as an amp and box so I guess that’s cool but really disappointed that what was supposed to be a cool feature just... isn’t. If you have an iPhone 7 or newer, this likely isn’t going to work. Very buggy.

I need to update my amp but I don’t own a computer so I use my smart phone for everything. It would be effin spectacular if you could update via the Beam Wizard. Show more

I hate to say anything bad about TC Electronic, because I have nothing but respect for their hardware and think the idea of being able to program your own presets is nothing short of awesome... But, this software falls way short of what I would expect from a company that is in some ways, leaps ahead of the competition as far as innovation goes. So here are my beefs and a few humble suggestions: 1) You should be able to save TonePrints that you create and copy them from one device to another. I can’t believe they didn’t get this yet, but if you create something on your PC or iPad, there’s no way to copy that TonePrint to your iPhone. If nothing else gets fixed, get this one! 2) On the same line, it would be nice it if you could retrieve the TonePrints from the pedal so you could edit them again or just identify what was in that slot. I’ve already found that I’ll forget what voices are in what slots, once the editor is disconnected. 3) There’s no manual!!! This is maybe my biggest pet peeve. There’s absolutely no frigging manual. To top it off, the customer support at TC Electronic is awful. This could be remedied if they had some good documentation, but right now, there’s nothing. Technically, there are times when the TonePrint Editor and the pedal don’t sync up when connected by the USB cable, but I’m sure that’s in the manual, somewhere. Show more

I just updated the app and it crashes immediately. Never loads at all.

FYI don’t bother downloading this app till you get a “camera connection kit.”

It's a fun idea, too bad I'll never be able to use it. The app won't take me past the loading screen without crashing. I deleted and redownloaded it but to no avail. Kind of disappointing. Show more

Love the new app. Love that you can edit custom tone prints now. All it is missing is device syncing. I have the app on my iPad, PC, and iPhone. The toneprints do NOT sync between any of them. Make that happen, please! Show more

Does not load prints through the pick ups. Epic fail. Camera kit? Nope. Fail!
