I found this app to be extremely useful while taking theory and musicianship classes at a conservatory. An hour a day with 4 sections(15 minutes each) to work on memorization has literally saved me so much stress from these rigorous classes. Show more

There are many errors in the chord construction area. So many, in fact, that I just stopped looking at the app. It has potential, but frankly it takes a lot of nerve to charge five bucks and put out that much wrong information. Show more

I got this app the same time I downloaded/purchased a few other music related apps so I didn't get a chance to use it right away. Some time passed and I was excited to finally see what the app was all about and hopefully refresh my memory on some basics, but when I opened it up it had a yellow bar right across the middle informing me I had 'run out of time' and had to unlock the app to use it. This would cost me $4.99. Thanks but no thanks. What a waste -- and shame. Show more

The app is best for testing your understanding and retention. It attempts to define some material, but other material may need more outside explanation if you don't understand what you're memorizing. But the flashcards are quite thorough. I got the app for the ear training, and so far, it's great! Show more
