    No sound
After I play for a little bit the keyboard stops making noise, even when I exit and wait for a bit. Please fix, but its a good app.

    Crashes
    It crashes on every load!

    Perfect for learning
This is a great little synth for learning the basics of sound synthesis. Everything is very clear and the controls are very responsive. Will need to add Core Midi and midi over wifi to keep up. Show more

    Easy Peasy
Mike, new patches are added to the end of the list, they don't overwrite previous patches. And have you tried moving your finger further away from the dial to make micro adjustments? Show more

    Where are the patches?
Two patches? Seriously? Where can I find a manual. And the patching saving writes over the patch I just created. Also adjusting the tuning between Osc 1 and 2 is a nightmare. I couldn't dial is 12 cents to save my life. It jumped from 11 to 14 no matter how minute of a movement I made. Cool concept... Needs some work. And that manual - no can find it. Show more

    Guys, this is FREE!
It is ridiculous to give low ratings to a free app. The developer would probably love to hear your suggestions, but accompanying them with a low rating is so small.

    Try it...you'll like it
Very nicely done app for making those synthy sounds we all love.

Good But could use a couple of things
For retro sounds and current lead sounds it's awesome, but it needs to be able to produce sine waves for sub basses. It could also use a polyphony option, but that isn't really necessary. Besides those two things, however, this is a great app and I suggest it. Show more

    Not the best free synth.
"Sylo" is a better free synthesizer. The rainbow-coloured pressed-keys are cute though.

    Excellent Teaching Synth
Fast, responsive, easy to use controls. Classic signal path. Oscillator sync is a plus that some more expensive apps lack. Recreate the sounds of electronica and prog rock for free. The upgrade price makes the upgrade a must buy. Midi control would make this app more powerful than all my vintage gear for a fraction of the cost. For a beginner, the free price and classic signal path make this a perfect app to learn with. The signal chain will carry over to all the larger soft synths. Very good execution. A must have. Mobile synth hd!
I gave this synth an average score. I try to support devs when I can and it seems that every month or two there is two or three "new" versions of the mobile synth free code. I respect the potion but I have so many of these synths and I am still waiting for record with copy/paste! The other reviews are correct in the clipping pops and clicks. I have noticed it's only velocity sensitive on my iPad 1. Perhaps it has to do with an apple issue with the API? Either way should be a simple fix since there is a work around and the problem seems to be triggered. Good luck with this one and I will watch it. For now I am still a big fan of sylo synth and it's upgrade when it comes to a VA synth of this design. It is different then the mobile synth open code and it has record, copy, and paste. Once this app gets fully featured out then it should be the last of these synth option you should need. Thanks for your time. Show more

    Clicks. Deleted.
This is useless for me because of audible clicks between notes. Not even adjusting the oscillators, filters and envelopes resulted in a setting that did not click.

Go straight the up grade version
Don,t get me wrong, the free version is fine, but a buck the upgrade is a bargain. If you are an old school analog synth player this fills great. I have paid much more for synths that are much less intuitive. That being said it is only a buck don,t expect the world. Show more

    A toy...
This synth could be more than a toy! 1. An audio rec with copy paste capabilities 2. The ability to add our own audio to osc 1? 3. Tempo sync delay, flange, chorus 4. Bit reduction 5. You need to fix the modulation, it clips more than it should Do these things and i will add more stars...goldeny awarding stars, shiny happy stars, beautimus everlasting stars. Show more

What can I say, it's free!
Good sounding synth and for the right price! I have to add that without midi it's not much other than a good toy for sound design. I hope the devs can add midi to this. I'd pay for that! Otherwise, definitely suggest you download this app... You can't lose!! Show more

    Not bad
Two issues: 1. core midi & line6 midi support 2. there is a constant click with the sounds...(it seems to be coming from the filter section) Resolve these two issues please because this is a nice bread and butter synth, I do like how the crucial controls are all on one page in front of you all times Show more

    Very fun
Not useful, but fun to play around with. The nag to download the in-app purchase is minimal, which I greatly approve of.

    Beautiful app. Performance grade.
I like how all the controls are visible at the same time, makes crafting sounds that much easier.

Excellent value at zero dollars. Worth the super cheap upgrade.
Can't believe this costs next to nothing. The keys are super responsive and the generator is very flexible. Pitchbend and modulation wheels are a blast. Well done, guys!
