I’ve been using songbook + for a while now and it’s been the best app for live music performance I have tried. So many great options to work with. Trustworthy app to use when you need live performance stability. Recently had issues sending midi to my iPad 3 over a wired IK rig device. The iPad connection had become a problem so I decided to try the new puc+ over bluetooth with my songbook+ app. It works like a charm. Every musician and iPad owner should have this app. Let price do not to scare you.This is the best app from all available I transfer 500 lyrics (use photo to pdf.option) and music assign them together in about 6 hrs. Now I have back-up all my Korg pa3X Musikant music collection and lyrics on iPad for go on stage and perform WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Show more

This app has the most features and capabilities I have ever seen in any app. Songbook takes a while to get used to, but is well worth the effort and the cost of the app. The MIDI setup for hands-off bringing up musical scores can be a little intimidating, but there is a YouTube video to walk you through the process and the software developer, Matthias Bauer, is very quick to help when ever I was confused on any feature. I wanted an app that would play backing tracks on my iPad and this one does it beautifully. I also like the fact that I can put charts with lyrics and chords in which means no more loose leaf binders with pages falling out. I started out with the Lite version which enables you to try a full featured version of the app (10 songs) before you commit to buying the large version which is quite expensive compared to most apps for the iPad. Now that I have it, I think the money was well-spent. I have been using this for over a year with great success. The developer is very sensitive as far as listening to ideas for improving the app. I use it in conjunction with an automated turning device called AirTurn BT-105 which makes this app even better. I think it's a great app if you need to play backing tracks and have charts to read. Show more

Don't let the price scare you - this is easily the best money I've spent on my iPad. This app is incredibly useful and versatile and the ability to have the tune or even a video attached to the song is awesome. I carry more than 500 songs on it and I can share with other users when we're playing or practicing. Totally worth it! Show more

I purchased several of these apps & this is by far the best. I have used it for 2 years+. Loading files is cake. The photo to PDF feature is killer. I play solo acoustic 100 shows a year & this is THE app to have for lyrics. There was a bug after an update a year or so ago & I contacted the developer & they fixed it that day. They also answered a question of mine in an hour! Show more

Songbook+ is a solo musician's dream. Also great for bands. This app works great for the midi musician or track backer alike. This will eliminate all your paper books. No more printing. It makes for a smooth display with the iPad. I use it on stage for all my gigs. Also great for rehearsals. Easy set up. There is no other iPad app out there with as many useful features as Songbook+. No other app accepts or sends midi like Songbook+ does. It has way too many features to mention here. Don't waste your time with the others. I've tried all the other apps. This is the one. I've been using it professionally for over 2 years now. There is no equal. The latest update proves that this is a very powerful app and an answer to musician's needs. Show more

Replaced my printed notes and pedalboard "dance" between songs when gigging with Songbook+. My music cheat sheets are displayed, when I select a song it sends a midi program change to my pedal board to select the correct preset. Works as advertised with excellent support from the developer. Worth every penny! Show more

I really like the way this program works but it crashes my ipad 2 in the middle of a song. So it is useless in a live performance. Very frustrating since it is very high priced. Is there a fix for this problem? If not how do I get my money back? Show more
