I open the app, type on an album, click on a song to listen and sync, and the lyrics page is totally blank. Then, the app tells me to log in and explains what music match app is like I didn’t already know. Then I try to log in again with google after all has kicked me out. It then goes to a load page where nothing happens. Restart the app several times now it tells me to link my Spotify account again. I click and link and it takes to a loading screen with an error message in a triangle ! Totally useless app! Update- It’s worse than I thought… some of the lyrics “synced” but when I go to my artist profile on my computer,.. it just says sync verifying… and has for weeks. When I click on the song it has no sync whatsoever, like they app doesn’t actually submit this information to the website! Show more

I love it

You need to hold people accountable for crappy lyrics. There are too many incorrect lyrics, it’s pitiful. I’ll do my best, but maybe invest more into quality???

Lyrics aren’t showing up. It says it your app couldn’t authorize it. Please help!

Like the title says, this app deserves a rating. The fact that they’ve expanded this far to be the most popular in this incredibly specific category is commendable enough. Not 5 stars though cause the bugs? Insane. Sometimes it seems like a lot of work went into bug fixes but it’s understandable since they’re using your spotify or apple music app in the background while controlling it. It could be smoother though. Their selection of specialists is way too slow and somehow picky yet not picky. They’re very selective yet the people they select get lyrics wrong 70% of the time simply because they didn’t listen hard enough. It’s also too easy to claim someone else’s syncing. However high you are in ranks your name is automatically stapled above anyone else’s and their work is seen as yours. Show more

I’m learning Filipino languages, including Ilocano, Kapampangan, Cebuano, Tagalog, and Waray-Waray. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I can find a lot of translations for songs in these languages on this app. Even when there isn’t already a translation, adding one is easy no matter which version of the app you’re using, so I’m more motivated to actually look up the words I don’t know and translate the lyrics myself. I like that this app gives me a fun way to practice the languages I’m learning. I think there’s no better way to learn to sightread a language quickly than by learning to sing in it, and this app makes that fun and engaging, especially when syncing lyrics that don’t already have them synced. That’s how I ended up finding out about this app — I was listening to a lot of music on other apps that didn’t have the lyrics synced, and found out this is where that info comes from. I’ve been enjoying adding info to the database about the music I love, and knowing that I’m helping others connect with it more too. I have experienced some issues when syncing lyrics line by line — apparently in the iPad version at least, you may have issues if you’re trying to navigate the song by the timestamps — it’s better to use the timeline at the bottom, otherwise the playback and the timeline may de-sync. I also had some issues with elements not displaying properly when using an external keyboard via USB-C with the iPad version. Show more
