    Great App
I needed to run show while my laptop (with my copy of QLab) was otherwise in use. So I bought a copy of Go Button 2. It was great, not as full featured as QLab, but it got the job done and was very easy to use. I can’t wait to try out version 3. Show more

    Best Out There
There isn't an app that does this better. The new OSC options are sweet! I can now program lights on an ETC console, and have the console trigger Go Button to start the tracks. A super easy "one man band" setup. Show more

    Love master volume control
I'm so glad they added the master volume control. Now I don't have to worry about bringing another piece of gear for easy control of volume. I can just plug straight into speakers and go. Great for rehearsals! Show more

    Best In Class!
I tour a one-man-show. GoButton is the easiest and most versatile cue system I've ever used. Over the last two decades, I've tried many, MANY sound cue systems. From dedicated hardware systems costing up to $1,500 or more, to software solutions on laptops, none were as easy to use or as flexible as GoButton. I recently did a 33-show run of a brand new program. I was able to make changes on the fly as we tweaked the show. And I absolutely LOVE that there are no proprietary parts! If something breaks I can replace it. This is what I've been looking for. Show more

    Awesome!
I was going to buy qlab and then I found go button, which is designed by the same company. I use this for theatre and it is highly reliable and does everything I need. Show more

    Answer to my dreams
Go button does everything I hoped it would and a lot more. It's very intuitive and easy to learn. You can access and preview audio files dierctly from iTunes, or email a wide range of file formats directly into the program via email. I really like this feature because I dislike using iTunes and you don't have to sync your iPad to a PC to import a sound clip. Cues are easy to add, copy or delete. Easy to program fades, auto stop or go directly to next cue. You can copy and rename an entire show and Crete a new variation on the fly. The display is easy to read and customizable. You can even add notes that display in a side panel for each cue. I was able to easily edit out portions of a music track using the waveform editing tool, right in the application. I used to have to edit my sound tracks I another program like audacity and import an edited copy. I was very impressed with this feature The program has some ability to customize use of various ijet wireless remotes, or you can use an apple Bluetooth keyboard. I am a professional magician and programmed my first show sound track in just a few minutes. During the course of a weeks rehearsals I was able to quickly and easily make changes and tweak my sound track. My first show went without a hitch. I was in complete control of all my walk on, walk off, background music and sound effects. Finally, the PDF user manual is extremely comprehensive and make learning hoe to take advantage of all the programs many features. I highly recommend this program. Show more

    The BEST pro-entertainer's App
I have used several other apps but Go Button by far is THE BEST, hands down. You can set up your show with ease. Unlike others, GB allows you to order the music as YOU desire. As a professional stage hypnotist I need to go to various music pieces depending on the audience. You can scroll immediately to the music piece that you desire, play, fade out, fade in, or WHATEVER you desire. Almost ALL of the other apps require one to move in a linear fashion; i.e., select, play, quit. GB allows the performer the liberty of moving where one needs. I would have paid $100 or more for this great app. It is now my GO To Go Button app. I will never need anything else. And, no, I'm not a shill, just a pro entertainer who is extremely satisfied. Solid alternative to qlab
After a computer crash i was left with just my iPad to run music for a couple of off broadway shows. Needing a little more than what an iTunes playlist could do, GoButton was a great find and has proven valuable so far. Not a perfect 5, but hopefully future updates will cross off a few of my wish list items. Show more

    Excellent app for solo performers
I have used this app for multiple shows and it is amazing. It does exactly what I need, is easy to use, and each new update makes it even more detailed. Thanks! Show more

Tried several others - wish I’d gotten this one first
Fabulous program. I was able to import and create some fairly complex cues for a theatrical production within an hour of downloading. Crucially, it supports wireless speakers, which is an absolute must for me. Show more

    Perfect for Plays
I have used Go Button for several high school plays and dance performances, sometimes plugging my iPhone, sometimes plugging my iPad into the theater's sound board. The app is easy to use; I usually have a student at the controls for each performance. I haven't used the current version yet, but I will soon. It looks easier to use than ever! I like that my shows are saved through iCloud. Show more

    Updated Review
After having used this Excellent App for a week of shows, am really really pleased! Even had to get another Ipad to dedicate to shows...are you listening Apple? Whatever " glitches" There were are so easily worked around....the support is the best, major companies could learn something here. It as if the app was written for me! Flexible, versatile, useable.....superb. You will not go wrong with this app....yup I am a happy customer, this is the first time that have been so compelled to write a review, not once but twice...10 stars if they had them. Show more

    Oh yeah
Exactly the app i needed for my theater production. Don't understand a lot of the complaints I've seen here, lists load and are saved, easy operation once you start figuring out what the parameters mean. I'd love to see a fade up button as well as a fade down, so there still could be some work done but great job. Show more

    The Perfect Show Cue App!
I have used Go Button on multiple productions for several years. It is hands down the most professional, intuitive and stable (very important) program I've found and believe me I've tried them all. It solved an important need for my company - the ability to have the same flexibility, precision and features as professional computer-based apps (QLab, etc) delivered on a smaller manageable device - something that wouldn’t require us to tour with a laptop or desktop, Go Button solved our dilemma. Where other sound and show apps stop short Go Button shines. The app was developed by an audio engineer from the theater world and therefore packages important features that have become industry standard. If you have run or used a professional show control systems in major theater setting this program will be very intuitive for you. I currently have Go Button running eight different shows on six devices (a combination of iPads and iPod Touches). It is everything I could wish for and more. I will never use anything else. This is what I'm looking for but buggy
This plays samples from my library while also allowing preset cue in cue end times and fade options. It is a bit buggy though. When you create a list, you can't click done. I had to close and come back, but at least my list was saved. Might have to do with starting with making the sample buttons below first. If you let one of the samples below finish, you can't play it again. It will highlight like it is playing, but it won't play. Also, sometimes adjusting the cue settings mutes the playback for preview. When cueing a song and previewing, it would help to get the current seek time of the song, so you can manually enter the times. 5 star worthy when bugs are fixed. A one tap fade out option of the bottom sound drops would be a great option. Show more

    Bad app for live shows
I was depending on this app to run a show. It crashed mid show and started running cue after cue and I couldn't get it to stop. Or it just wouldn't play any sound at all. i was forced to STOP THE SHOW!! I am ashamed I paid $10 for this app as it really let me down. On top of that the editing cue feature barley works and is not responsive. This would be a great app if it did what it promised. Please fix your app cuz it really failed me. I want my money back. Everything I need
An update to my previous review: I now use GoButton on an iPad to control all of my sound cues on both my traveling gigs and my weekly stage show. And for someone like me who has backups to his backups, It is a dream to have a backup in my pocket (on my iPhone) should there be any problem with my regular show iPad. The show uses some 30 cues, some played simultaneously, with variable play lengths and fade-outs, and GoButton does the job. I recommend GoButton to every performer I talk to without reservation. Every magician should get this!
I love this app! I am a magician and recently performed a new act with 35 music and sfx cues. For years, I have shopped around for all the show control systems there were. The expense and bulk kept me from buying them. Now, with my iPhone, I not only have a cheaper system that is just as good as all the expensive ones, but it's always with me! Always. How awesome is that? I use the iNav remote control (worth 3 times what it costs), and am now able to cue all 35 music/sfx cues in my show myself. Why is that good you ask? If you've ever tried to get a sound guy to hit all if your cues precisely, then you know. My timing is always right on when I'm cueing the sound myself. And, most people in the audience have NO IDEA that I'm cueing the sound myself!! The iNav remote is in my pocket, and I've built the Go Button show to advance the cues with the push of one button. This includes the ability to have a song fade out on my command. And more. If you know how to use this app, the possibilities are endless as to what you can cue. My new act kills EVERY time because of my sound cues. I get laughs, applause, and suspense because of the sound cues. Go Button and iNav have given me the tools and freedom to take my show to the next level (all for about $35 total). If you want to be a pro performer, this is too easy not to incorporate into your act. If your on the fence, buy this! If you've been using an iTunes playlist for your sound cues, quit that and buy this! You will be happy you did... Show more

    Best value for the money
There are several other apps in the app store that claim to be useable for theatrical and other CUE based audio. There is a 60 dollar program that is not half as usable as this one on the market, so I think the value for the money is amazing. It is missing a few SMALL advanced features that can be worked around. Plus, the developer is responsive to feedback and if he adds the additional features this will be the best simple cue-based audio show control ever. EDIT: all the features I felt were missing were added. If I could add another star I would. Ran my live show using this app. Genius. Show more
