Can’t add text directly into app. Have to go thru iTunes which is a terrible interface.

I’ve used this app for years with so many performances and have hundreds of songs I’ve collected and paid for from iTunes and now, it seems the site is not supported or updated and its not allowing me to add any more to it. Tried to reach developer web page and it never opened! Whats the deal? Very frustrated! Any help please? September14, 2020. I see most reviews are from a few years back. Does this app even work now?? I was looking for an app that would display 2-column pdf lyric sheets, because I didn’t want to deal with scrolling. Plus I wanted to have backing tracks at a touch of a button. This app accomplished the combining of lyrics and tracks, simply and effectively. I also like the metronome bpm for each song. That helps with live-looping. Like any app there a small learning curve, but once you’ve got it, it’s amazing! Show more

This app is just what I need without a bunch of extra complications. I have all my songs on my iPad, and I make lists to put them in groups for each band I play with. I make set lists for events, for easy page turning and set tempos too for counting off. Show more

Beware that you need iTunes to use this app.

I just wanted to paste lyrics here and you can only add content from your computer. No option to create a new file from the app. Enjoy my 3 dollars...

I’ve been using this app for years and it’s the only one that comes close to what I need! Simple and easy to use if you don’t need to edit on the spot. Only wish I could set up two main song data bases, one for my solo shows and one for my band shows...other than that I love it! Show more

Unless I’m really missing something, this is impossible to use. How do you get anything in it without going to a computer. This isn’t 2001.

I’ve been using “My Lyric Book” several years now. Simple to import song lyrics (ie: Word files) from your laptop. Great for making/sorting set lists on the fly. Responsive email support from the author, thanks Ian. Show more

Excellent if you have a crap load of lyric chord charts on your computer that you need to print out. Just input them with a click and you have them. Now, dragging $2.99 out of your pre Madonna band mates is the hard part, but if they use the charts you print out it’s worth it to give them the Monet so u don’t have to copy any longer. Works excellent on a pad with a pad holder. Show more

Three large binders into my tablet and backed up on my phone! Does simply what I want it to do. Store my lead sheets, make set lists, and NOTHING else! (I tried 3 other apps, but they did too much, set list maker for example.) Hook my tablet/phone to my MacBook, drop the files in through iTunes, and on my way. Oh, got pinch to zoom back! Weird way to make it work, but it works! (Scrolling PDF setting turned on) Friends wishing they could get a version for android. Show more

VERY unusable! Files won't transfer from other apps. Only option it gives you takes you to an apple info page. No cut and paste options from other apps. Don't waste ur money. Show more

This app is great! It stores lyrics, set lists and allows you to zoom on word and pdf docs. Great purchase. Those low ratings are very unfair. Based on the reviews I can tell people didn’t take the time to figure it out. Show more

No set or way to understand how to load anything into the app. Possibly the worst app purchase in the history of apps.

The idea is there but the app doesn't work. Let's you load individual PDFs of song lyrics but that's it. Will not create setlists, and very buggy. Save your money.

It is horribly difficult if you just want to simply write lyrics for song or poems etc. ??

Difficult getting files into the app unless you are connected to a MacBook. I purchased this hoping to accomplish building a set list locally on my ipad... lesson learned.

Not user friendly at all. You will need to be a+++ certified to figure it out.

Is there any way to get the text to fill the screen? I'm getting what looks like 8 point (very small) text. I've only loaded one RTF in so far and I'm finding this program to be a waste of time. Just trying to figure out how to load in a song is time consuming with poor results. I've gone back to using dropbox with my lyrics in jpg or png format. Much better results. Show more

It's a great app for small gigs. We love the auto send lyric selections to other iPads over BlueTooth or Wifi, unfortunatley that feature no longer works after IOS 10 update. NEEDS an UPDATE for IOS10 ! If that works again, I would give it a 5. Show more
