    Stay away !!!!
This app charged me a few bucks just to download it. Then they charged me $21 bucks for a week long FREE trial. Then CHARGED ME AGAIN a week after the free trial for an amount of $21 bucks. Basically $45 bucks for the app!!!! Show more

Great app for those who hate metronomes
I just started playing the ukulele and my teacher suggested this app for strumming. It’s been very helpful and it’s fin

    No “Search”?
A “Search” function would be helpful.

    Waste of Money!
This app is lame AF!! All the beats are for children. Anything remotely worth while you have to pay extra for. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Awful

Good drum accompaniment, but many locked patterns
I use Airplay to drive external speakers for accompaniment when I practice sax. My only complaint is that many of the drum patterns cannot be accessed unless you pay additional for a subscription. For example, only 3 out of 20+ beat patterns are available in the Jazz section unless you buy the subscription. Simple user interface is a plus. Show more

    Super basic without pro.
Not that great for 5 bucks. If it didn’t have patches locked down that would be a different story...

    Not worth money or time!
Very limited library. Beyond that, it requires a subscription! Really? Don’t waste your money or time!

    Just ok
Overpriced for what you actually get. I found one usable jazz swing beat, a few decent electronic beats, one ok blues beat, it seems all the best options were in the “upgrade” category. No thanks. The extra star rating I give for how well the app is organized. Show more

    Waste of 5 USD
This app does not work for me . You are better off getting free drum apps .. like audio kit metronome Samples very poor to consider this a drum app

    Great app
Great app. I use it for jams and rehearsals when no drummer is around. I wish it worked with Firefly to start and stop with foot switch via bluetooth.

    Drum Beats
It is an easy program to use, with good sound and over 375 beats to choose from.

Sounds are OK, AirPlay doesn’t work
Title says it all. Airplay is not working with my HomePod. Shameful advertising.

    Is that it?
I would rate more stars but I can’t find a tutorial. I’m stuck on I beat type and have to switch manually every time I want to change beats. Basically it feels like a glorified metronome??? Show more

    Simple and beautiful
Gets the job done and it’s just what I’m looking for to help me find my rhythm while playing the Ukulele/Guitar. Much better help than a traditional Metronome.

Pretty spare unless you pay for a subscription.
I was looking for some funky world beat type grooves to practice with, and have the desktop app version, which is really good, but the iOS version requires a subscription to get to anything besides basic rock, country and pop rhythms, no way to purchase a lasting set. I could be wrong, maybe I went for a subscription there as well,, but for the money, there are more rhythms in Drum Genius and you are not locked into a subscription format. Seems every app developer wants you to pay rent for the rest of your life these days. Show more

Simple, elegant - so many great options!
Out of all of the drum apps available to use as a rhythm accompaniment track, this is the most straightforward. You can choose the rate usually in accurately, and there are a relatively large number of options for rhythm patterns. Start and stop button is easy to use, and starts back on the downbeat. I am not a drummer, and I am not trying to learn drums – I just want an app that will give me the background drum/rhythm I need for simple recording, or even live purposes. Show more
