This would be an awesome app in its simplicity, but there are glitches and crashes. I spent a good 30 minutes writing a piece and the app crashed without saving. I also see the last update was two years ago. It obviously needs updated. Show more

I’m able to complete a few measures but the app suddenly closes without saving. So the tool (app) is worthless.

No sound came out when I tried to play the song I had written! I had my volume all the way up but nothing came out. I dislike that there aren't more advanced options. I saw this app and decided to try it out(because of the occasional good review) but I don't like it. It would be good for beginner song writers but not for people who want a good quality, advanced app. (If they can find out how to get the volume fixed...) Show more

The software works... In Theory. You can place notes in the staff, sleet how long they should be, a tempo, and all that jazz. The problem is that you have to press and hold with your finger where you want the note. How on earth am I supposed to know what note is being placed with my finger in the way? If they'd add a keyboard or some way for me to see what note I'm placing, it'd be perfect for basic music notation. Show more

It was a good app overall, but there was no way to delete a double stop. Also, there were no instructions, so i had to learn it on my own.

It is a good app overall, but the only two things I can think of that would make it better would be to allow for writing sheet music for more types of instruments than piano, and to make it so that you can add a slur whenever you want. Show more

The title is misleading but it's a great way to write songs on your phone.

Really useful

I like this app because I can make my own small tunes. But the developers if the app should change the pausing between measures. Other than that I think the app is great. Show more

Going to delete this after five minutes

Not a perfect app, but serves its purpose if used as a supplement. No bass or alternate clefs, or added notation is possible to use, but for notating melodies, the app works. Show more

I downloaded and used it for one note and after that it wouldn't work I could only add rests "sometimes." I'm very disappointed in this app.

I really wanted to use this program, but it doesn't work for more than a note or two. I could put on one note and then I couldn't add any more. There is no provision I could find instructions. A questionnaire later popped up to see if I had questions. I asked if there were explanations on how to work the program but they never responded. Thus far, it has been useless. Show more

Great app, although i wish it had alto clef...

I'm certain many people who try this app will agree with me when I say that I'd rather carry around a notebook and and hand-draw staves than try to notate with this app. It's just unbelievable tedious to add notes, and it's nearly impossible to get them in the right place. Overall, it's not worth using. At least not yet. For people who want to tough it out but don't want to upgrade in order to be able to save files: I'm assuming taking screen shots (home button + power button at the same time) of your project will help somewhat. At least you won't completely lose your idea this way. Show more

Agree with above review pointless and was APPALLED by this app first you have no edit/erase functions then to save you have to purchase feature AND to share you have to purchase this as well!! disgusted why would songwriters ever ever ever use this as is? its an underhanded marketing tool and usually dont go out of my way but dont want others to waste time because once you see it you will see right through it! I'm very disappointed and wish i could get my time back-pls dont waste the short time we have in life to write songs with this app-if I could I'd give no stars I'm usually not this negative but it's honest.-C Show more

This app is working great for me. It i clear that in order to save your songs you have to buy an optional add-on, but you can definitively save songs. I love the ability to put down my music ideas on the go and send them over to my email as Mp3 files. Looking forward in having even more features! Show more

The only thing this app can do is take up storage. You can't save what you do! If you press the home button all your work is gone!!!!!

It won't let me update the app. Each time I try, it says its not available for purchase anymore. Please fix!!!
