    Great but...
This is a great app, but I would love this app if you add a time signature and a left hand option.

Good idea, but not worth it
You can't choose a key or time signature. The app doesn't care if you put more than 4 beats in a measure. Interface is weird and not user-friendly. You can't even arrange notes into chords. You're better off just carrying around a pad of blank sheet music paper and a pencil, and downloading a piano/keyboard app for reference. Show more

    Alto clef?
This app is great for brain storming, but that's about it. It's very frustrating to me, a viola player, that I can't write in my clef. There is also no way to export your music or write more than one line. Show more

    Not worth the download
Don't waste your time with this app. Practically anything you want to do in this app needs an in-app purchase. If you try the free version the notes you put in don't even play back. There are better ones to use, don't waste your time with this one. Show more

    Improvising
I love being able to meditate while improvising on the piano and this application keeps a record of my notes

    Not Free
This application is not free. I'd rather to buy it at $3.99 with ability to export the score to .PDF as well as .MID than having this free but just to kill my time. It would be five stars if this application is not free and give me facility to export the music notation to PDF and MID. Please do it to make this application great! There are still no competitors who build this kind of app up to now per April 2012. Get the opportunity! I will pay, I promise! Show more

    Ehhh
I don't think it was that good. For simple music yes but the free version doesn't give you too many options. It would be nice to change key signature, do chords, and go to higher notes on the staff. Overall the simplicity of it bothered me since I was trying to write a version if Criminal for the piano. This app didn't help too much. Show more

    Mr.
Not many options on the free version. Basically forces you to upgrade.

    Excellent
This app is amazing! I've been looking for an app to do write music on. I would love to be able to create chords, slurs, and ties. Also the app would be better if you made it possible to change the time signature of the music. Show more

    Great app!
I love the instant feedback of creating a rhythmic figure then hearing it to see if i did it right. This will be a big help demonstrating for my students the dif between quarters & eighth notes. Thanks! Show more

    Needs a little work!!!
I like the idea of writing my music on a music sheet however it would be nice to email when I am done to print it out. One downside - the app is s little sensitive. When I try to go from page to page, the app thinks I want to add A note. Not bad for a free app. Thanks Show more
