Could use a better schedule for on-air programming. Right now you have to scroll sideways for a long time to see what is coming up later in the day. Would be nice to set notifications for programs on the schedule. The user interface chooses function over form; the app streams fairly well for long periods of time but it has the looks of an app written in 2009. Show more

Love having public radio available for the phone...BUT it does not respond to clicks on programs available to see what’s being offered. For example, if I’m listening to a program but want to see what another featured is about, no clicks will open up the other program I’m interested in...not trying to listen to it, just want to see what it’s about. Website looks all messed up when you try to open new things; I just tried to subscribe to Look-Listen-Read; when I clicked on it, only half the page was showing so I couldn’t complete the “sign up for” action to get subscribed. Maybe I’ll delete the app & try reinstall. This is beyond aggravating. Show more

It’s wonderful to be able to stream STLPR in the morning as I enjoy my coffee. It really does make the mornings and days that much more bearable.

Perfect, I use it constantly

This is a great app for staying up-to-date with national public radio in St. Louis and I really enjoy the content. Sometimes when I turn it on it just cycles with a few sentences around and around and I have to uninstall it and reinstall it to get it to work right. Other times it just doesn’t connect at all even if I’m on Wi-Fi. So bottom line - technically need some work, content-wise couldn’t be better! Show more

I usually listen on the radio, but when out of town or no radio around this is great. Also the other info and the ability to look up old shows and pause the program are nice options. Show more

When I don’t listen to the radio I listen to the app or a podcast. Happy with it. Working fine.

This app controls its own playback, and doesn't use iOS APIs for audio controls. Hitting Stop/Pause on your media controls will just startup your Music app. I'm unable to control the audio with my Apple Watch or headphones because of this. When I TRIED to pause audio, Apple Music loaded and started playing a song. Show more

Worked reasonably well on my iPhone 6 but when I upgraded to iPhone 8 the app stalls or stops at a couple times a week. I end up removing the app completely and reinstall. Other than those issues I thoroughly enjoy this this app. Show more

Really frustrating that I have to uninstall and reinstall the app at least once a week because of the bugs that are in it.

I appreciate having 24-7 access to my local station via app. There are always a lot of articles to scroll through for your reading or listening pleasure, too.

My mom listens to this station via HD radio, so I got this app to listen from other states as I travel. It needs restarting frequently. The hosts and music choices are great. Show more
