I use the app on both iPhone and iPad and it often will not play. I tap the play icon and it goes right back to the play icon instead of the pause icon. Also, it will often play a few minutes and then quit. It has some serious bugs! Show more

Great way to listen to NPR, CapRadio, and my favorite, Marketplace.

This is a great radio station and the app brings it to you easily. Streaming is fast and never gaps unless I’m out of cell range. The only thing I don’t get is how quickly it is evicted from memory. If I stop the car and pause the music, when I open it again it has to start up from scratch. Even if it’s only a minute or two and I’ve done literally nothing with my phone since the. Otherwise wonderful, especially Jennifer Reason and the wide variety of classical music. Show more

It’s everything I wanted in this ap!

I thought it was just me but my phone app and my husband’s app play and cut out and play again very frequently.

This app has been quite flexible with the listening experience and the storytelling pervalance within this news and classical streaming sites and always finding a way to make a difference with donations. Show more

Every 5 minutes this is crashing. I wrote to the station- it’s occurred for 12 days now—- ? prior it was amazing...

Clunky, not intuitive at all. Plus it just stops playing even though the play indicator is on. Uninstalling.

Yes they have livestream jazz, but they are also a portal to some of the best music and interviews. Only issue is when I find myself caught between CAPRADIO and imbedded website and play war of the PLAY buttons... Show more

Please fix! Can’t get more than five minutes before it cuts out!

This app plays for a few minutes and then stops. Sometimes it will restart and sometimes it never restarts. It is very frustrating.

I love NPR and contribute. This year the app has become truly awful. They had a problem of the opening commercial repeating constantly which they finally fixed by changing to one you can skip once. Now the app will only go a few minutes at most before it stops playing to buffer. It frequently gets stuck stopped and I have to manually push play again. This isn’t a problem with my signal strength. I tried the NPR app this morning and have been listening to News without ANY pauses to buffer. I can also stream Podcasts and even video with no problem. It is just this particular app. They need to fire their app developers and hire someone who knows what they are doing. Show more

I have been listening and supporting CapRadio for years, listening in my garden on my iPad. I am no longer able to use the iOS app as the Comcast ad continually interupts programming. I now use my Samsung smart phone. Your app needs fixed... Sacramento2 Show more

I really love listening to this station, but the glitches of repeat break in commercials is super frustrating. I only get to listen to 1/3 of the total news report. However, I now get to hear “we get support from Comcast business....” every 10 seconds. Show more

I really like this multimedia app. It leads to in-depth understanding that I can use without the dead-end type of anxiety other media can cause.

We stream CPR everyday, it’s been our companion for years. The app is overall easy to use, providing current news, local, national and international. Great library of podcasts. The only disappointment is the occasional halt in the livestream - sometimes it comes back automatically and sometimes we need to restart the app. Overall a great app Show more

I wanted a way to stream Cap Radio classical and this app does that. The app is the current NPR-style: overly busy and difficult to navigate, but I put that on whomever NPR contracted to build it (the WEMU app is the same). I do like being able to replay shows, and that’s the main advantage over just a live mp3 stream through iTunes. Show more

I love being able to listen to the live broadcasts wherever I am. However when I try to find past broadcasts, it can be difficult. The organization is not that user friendly - it takes something other than your “common sense”. Otherwise, great having the news and my favorite shows at my fingertips. Show more
