Does what it is supposed to.
Bought this to convert Flac. and m4a files to mp3. It works quickly and easily. I do wish it would automatically set the destination folder to be the same as the source folder. But that is a very minor set back. Show more

    Very, Very Good
The app works very well for converting a large number of music files. I use it weekly, and I find it to be far more intuitive than the many cheaper priced alternatives. Worth every penny. (Now, they just need to add more metadata capabilities!) Show more

    FLAC to iTunes
Using this without a hitch for FLAC conversion to Apple Lossless Codec m4a which one can import into iTunes and play AND burn discs. Have had no issues like others below me seem to identify. Don’t mind the $10 or so as it works and is fast. Enjoy your new vitamin pill for Audio : FLAC at High Resolution. Show more

    Waste of money
This program will not convert .wma files to .mp3 files playable on my Mac or PC.

    Some FLAC don't convert
Overall the app seems to work well and user interface is good. However, I discovered after the fact that some FLAC I converted to Apple Lossless (m4a) were not playing in iTunes (no conversion errors). Unfortunately I only noticed this at a later time since I didn't go through and play every song after converting. Just a warning to other users. If this had worked flawlessly I would probably rate the app 4 stars. Show more

"Advanced Settings Available" - uh, no...
Only the most basic conversion settings available (i.e., bit rate). Nothing even approaching the settings of a freeware package like fre:ac.

    Nice app.
2 things I don't like about it is the first time you open it, it asks permission to access your contacts. What's it gonna do? Spam my contacts? And the other, took me a while to find where to change bitrates. I first looked in preferences.. Show more

    Incorrect Information about the application
The information indicates that you can change the artist and album title, but you can not. I sent an email to the company and they replied that it can not change the metadata. I bought this to convert my Itunes library and change the name of artists, as I don't like the way Gracenote has multiple artists on non compilation albums. The conversion works fine, so I'm giving it 3 starts, 1 off for mis-information, and 1 off for the price (10 bucks is kind of steep for what it does). Show more

    Really great!
I love MUSIC CONVERTER PRO - In my opinion it was worth the price… Two things would make it better: 1. Multiple Windows 2. Exporting (if possible) information from iTunes (i.e. genre, year, album cover) Show more

    Update problem
The last updated removed the ability to convert files 3ga (samsung voice files) to mp3, I always renamed the files to mp4 and the application read and convert, just worked, now they have changed the way. Correct it quickly, I paid for the app! Or send a old version. Show more

    Bulk conversion needed babysitting...
I am in the process of converting my large collection from AIFF to MP3 so I can utilize a hard drive in my vehicle that reads MP3s. I noticed that this program does have limitations. Initially I attempted to convert my whole collection and all I got was a never ending beach ball. I then narrowed it down to about thirteen artists at a time (some had multiple albums) and it seemed to go to work. I often have to reinitiate the convert process because for some reason it will just stop converting. Once I click convert all goes well again and it continues where it left off. The positive is that it is converting/writing to my external hard drive for my vehicle in an identical manner from it's source. In this case, I am reading from my iTunes library (I made a copy to my desktop to expedite the process). The organization and naming conventions stayed the same. I also appreciate the formats in which it will allow me to convert. I would have converted in more of a lossless manner but my vehicle only recognizes MP3 or WMA. In conclusion, it works but for bulk converting you will have to babysit. Show more

    Problems with FLAC files
FLAC music files converted to Apple Lossless or AAC do not play in iTunes; they must be converted to AIFF in order to play in iTunes. Otherwise, the interface is great. Show more

    Only low nitrate
Flac converts only in low bitrate MP3 - 192 kbps - no choice. For me useless app...

Does not import the album confer
So i tried out this app - bought it.. It seems to convert faster then most, I have neen using Pro Audio converter, I match the files each with the same bit rate. setting the same, and what I noticed was that this app, did not sound (in most cases) as good as the one from Pro Audio Converter.. Now, it was not enough that I would not buy it base on what i found in my tests.. which was to convert both, using Identical settings on each of the two converters and the same song. I marked one file with the the#1 and one with the# 2 representing one for this converter and number two for pro audio converter I been put on a set of headphones and had my girlfriend play each file without me knowing which one was being played. I found that out of 15 tests 12 times I would always pick Pro audio converter. one other big issue for me is that oftentimes I convert from 192kbits to 64,kbits and I found that with every single conversion that music converter Pro would never import my help in covers. they are both in JPEG, or PNG and not one of them got exported so that means that exporting 1000 songs I have to go back and put every single album cover just something that needs to be addressed and something that maybe will help you so that you don't have to spend 1 hours putting all the covers back Show more

AAC Conversion completely failed and now AAC output file is always silent
Worked well for about 30 minutes. I've got some nice AAC files from that. Since then, it still offers to convert to AAC, and does the work, but only outputs silent audio of the appropriate length. I want my money back.. Show more

    Actually what I want
Successfully converted m4a to mp3. Fast. And most importantly, multi songs at the same time. Worth the money.
