One issue, after downloading a video from YouTube im have to close the app and start over to download another video, if i just go back to YouTube the download button doesn’t work anymore unless I close the app and start over again. That’s it thanks Show more

The app was not saving my exports, took it out of my phone to reinstall and lost all my songs….about 40 of them!

This app is trash . It doesn’t work. What a waste of my time . I really didn’t want to give it any stars

It crashes every time I export and doesn’t show the option to save in a folder location. But, when I open it again the file is available for me to initiate sharing. So, it works out. Just annoying. Show more

It takes way too long to load a 45-second song. Please help.

Beat Time no longer works. It doesn’t load videos any longer. It needs to be updated. So sad.

I bought this app because it was recommended for grabbing YouTube clips and sampling from it. However, all it does is buffer. Also it says it grabs my Apple playlist but it only takes songs I put on Apple not ones I pay for as part of my Apple subscription. Not worth $4.99. Show more

Great app. It just needs some TLC

Tried 4 youtube videos, all came back with same error “error reading file” and spit me back out. I was able to save them via shortcuts though so I’m pretty sure it isn’t the videos themselves. Avoid if you’re planning on using this with Youtube, which I was. Show more

it used to work fine but now its just not loading.

Would love to give it more stars but crashes half the time when I choose the export option. Using iOS 14 and iPhone XS Max.

I have to reload audio every time I open the app. The keyboard doesn’t function it’s just there.

The app claims to be able to access videos and then slow them down. But when it asks to access my camera roll, all it shows is a list of black boxes all with the same name: video 1. When I try to play them it tells me it cannot play .mov files. These are videos I took on an iPhone and were synced to my iPad. They are recorded on whatever format the iPhone uses. Perhaps that is the problem, it may not work with iPhones. When I go to the video and try to open it in beat time, the list of available options does not include beat time, so that avenue is out. Audio files seem to show up, but I already have apps that can do those, and I was told this worked with videos. Is there any sort of instruction book for this app? Is it because they were recorded on an iPhone instead of an iPad? Show more

It’s easy to get lost in the app. Also, there’s no easy way to get to the beginning of a video. You have to scrub each time you want to start over Show more

This app has been a life saver. I am a guitar instructor and my students ask me for all kinds of different songs. With Beat Time, I can not only slow down songs from my library, but I can look up the songs I do not have on YouTube and slow them down too. This allows my students to practice a song with the original recording, but do so at a speed that is more manageable than would otherwise be possible. It also allows me to adjust the pitch so that I can avoid de-tuning my guitar for songs that are in alternate tunings, which saves a lot of time. Also, when YouTube changed their format for some of their videos, the developer went above and beyond to make sure that this app was up to date and working properly, responding directly to an email I sent him. There’s a lot this app can do outside of its intended purposes. The timestretch algorythm is supergood, I use it to stretch audio files sometimes. Apple’s always trying to ruin BT with their OS updates but the dev fixes it every time. I’d say I’ve already gotten my money’s worth, buy this app! Show more

I like this app a lot, is very helpful for people working with music on their cellphones. I just think it could be better, from the visual aesthetics to the functionality... it needs some improvement to be perfect! Regardless of my opinion I recommended!!! Show more
