Love RTE, love the new app. So much easier to navigate. I live in Chicago, and I stream in my car driving home after work, and at home. Wonderful broadcasts. Late Date is my favorite. Show more

App is intuitive and and great for listening to shows you missed live

The latest update is strewn with faults. Anytime you go to Sky News the app fails. After two restarts on Playback it is not possible to reconnect. The new interface is good in fairness, but too many underlying errors. No way to contact RTE to tell them. Show more

World-class public service broadcasting. Extraordinary range of programming. As always, giving the fellas with the Wooly Servings app a run for their, considerably more, money. And to be fair, those lads know a thing or two about broadcasting… Show more

Would prefer if you listen to a podcast that it stops, rather than playing the next podcast automatically.

I live for part of the year in USA and just love Lyric . I listen to it whenever I can …. Especially Marty he’s like having a long time friend in the room . I can tune in anytime . The standard of programs are far superior to anything you can here innUSA Show more

live in america (for my sins) and would be lost without it. top notch journalism, presenters, topics. rte and ireland should be proud of their national broadcaster.

Perhaps it’s my phone, but the old Radio 1 App loaded faster and would transfer seamlessly to my car. With this new App, I have to wait and wait for it to load or change between radio stations, which seams to help speed up the process. I do like the new look, but some podcasts like Mooney goes Wild have been relegated to clips, which is disappointing. Overall, I love listening to RTÉ, it’s my home away from home while living in the USA. Show more

For many years i have listened and watched your tv i live in Florida and get great reception. Love the hourly news even though repeated a lot of times. It means so much keeping up to date with all the happenings of my wonderful IRELAND. Anna O’GORMAN Show more

I third generation Irish and live in America. I listen to RTe on my phone every day. It is truly like carrying a piece of Ireland in your pocket. I love the music and can stay up to date on news as well. Thank you for adding the listen back feature which allows me to listen to past shows. I love the Purple Vespertine and Classic Drive and Marty as well. Show more

Endless buffering and restarting makes listening to the radio live so painful. Hopefully this can get resolved. UI and UX are good but the inability to actually listen to the RTÉ negates any experiential improvements. Show more

The interface is much nicer, and I like the Way sections of each program are easily. The bigger pictures for the shows is better. The new layout means I don’t click into the radio one website by accident, which is a real pain. No I just for the RTÉ TV player to be overhauled bugs are still present, but are few and far between. I like the new UI, but the buffering for playing back radio shows, unbearable. I’m sure this will be fixed.
