I have just downloaded the iOS 12 update. Before I continue using this app the developer needs to update the app itself. Please take care of this.

When will this be updated so it will work with the latest update?!

I cannot use my iPhone app because it has no been updated to be used with the current ios 11.1 !!!! When it be uddated?

When should Onkyo users expect an update to this remote app? It’s been two years since the last one and now it isn’t compatible with iOS 11.

I can’t use this app at all now and can’t fully use my sound system without it!

Got it to connect but as soon as I make a change or play music it shuts off… I would not buy another Onyko. Any app developer who has half a brain could get this to work… Shows they don't have what it takes to keep up with technology Show more

App is good when it works but it crashes all the time! I would expect much better from Onkyo.

App works overall but it does not remember my settings. When I back out of the app and go back in it's as if I never changed a setting. Other than that it's great for me. Show more

After updating my receiver hardware, making sure the latest firmware is installed, giving the receiver a static IP, hard-wiring it to the network, I've decided Onkyo just makes a terrible network-connected receiver and/or app. Most of the time the app can't locate the receiver. It seems it has to be unplugged and plugged back in to come back. If this is poor app programming or poor firmware / status monitoring on the receiver side I don't know. Show more

I'm happy to announce that this app is a money saver since my Onkyo remote volume control stop working now I have full control via my iPhone and other than that my home theater system functions well true this app highly recommend not sure what happened to the person with the negative review. Used to work great for quite some time but no longer the case. Doesn't work at all now. Please fix.

Connects faster than 3 which is odd. Also maintains a more stable connection. Highly recommended.

This app has been driving me crazy for months. It has never worked even once, and there is no information on how to GET it to work. No help button; nothing online, etc. Show more

Just got my patio sound installed and the app seemed to be a really good solution to control my music from outdoor;... Well it turned out to be useless because keeps crashing every time I open. I have re-installed the app around 7 times with the same outcome, even reset my phone and still the same... Very frustrating! Onkyo team, if you care about your customers, the do something!!!!! And BTW the remote 3 app is even worse than the version 2; spotify menu has no options.... Really bad. I am thinking on returning the receiver just because of this app. Show more

Onkyo Product Managers...this is the worst App I've ever used, keeps crashing, shutting down, causing my brand new receiver to freeze up. I've tried restarting my iPhone 6, reinstalling the App, unplugging the receiver and plugging it back in. How can you put out a technology product like this??? Also, even when the App is not crashing, you can't make any adjustments to any of the speakers other than the very basic Trebble/Bass/Center. If I'm watching a movie, I have disrupt the movie to get into the OSD just to turn up one of the Surround Speakers. I'm boxing up my Onkyo TX-NR636 right now and it's going back to Best Buy just out of principle!!! Show more

I use it all the time with my receiver.

Why will it not find my receiver?? The previous version worked fine. Please UPDATE!!! Have to keep hitting reconnect 3 or 4 times to connect then it loses it!

This app can't find my receiver so what's the point of having it on my iPad Air?

This worked before the recent update. But now i cant find my receiver on the network at all. I updated my receiver as well with no luck. I need this working for the Superbowl!!!!!! Come on. Show more
