Was my go to tuning app but for the longest time now it won’t even open across multiple iOS devices.

This app doesn’t work properly at all. Don’t be fooled by the name.

It’s a good and accurate tuner. I really like the fact that you can pair it with a Bluetooth microphone. However, I would give it five stars if you could manually calibrate it. It tends to learn too quickly and often not to the steady frequency that you need it tuned to, especially when self-calibrating to your own pipes. Please update the app with that capability to make this app top notch. Show more

When combined with the bluetooth clip microphone this tuner makes tuning the drones really easy and accurate. I constantly switch between my band and solo chanters, and this makes that painless. Show more

I love this, especially when used with the Bluetooth mic. Setting the target pitch is currently done in the iPhone settings, which is a little clumsy (it should be easily set with ing the app). Also,an accompanying watch app would be awesome (I could tune without having to balance my phone somewhere). Worth the money. Show more

So I purchased and install Bagpipe Tuner and the only operational button I see is "learn" and still haven't figured how to make it work. Perhaps I am not using it correctly but without a FAQ or Help file, I will continue to struggle. Wish there was a "refund" option. Show more

I have been piping for 40 years and this tuner on my iPhone is the best tuner to date!! I have used many different tuners and none of the old big bulky things have even come close, oh yea, it work on the iPad just fine if you do not have an iPhone or iPod touch!!! This is an excellent tuner that takes into account slight variations of each note and makes it quite easy to accurately tune the chanter. My only issue is that before, the app would crash occasionally when using a plug in tuning clip. With this current update, it always crashes every time I plug in my tuning clip. Can something be done to fix that please?? Show more

This tuner works excellent. I have no complaints about its accuracy. I have never had a problem with this app up until recently. I now have the iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.2 and it's constantly crashing as soon as I open it. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is due to the recent instability. Please do an update for iOS 8 to stop the crashing! I love and rely on this app for daily practice and performances. Thanks! Show more

This is a great bagpipe tuner that works well for its price. It is a well working, easy to use quick replacement for a very expensive bagpipe tuner.(certainly not a permanent substitute though). Overall, this is an AWESOME app! Show more

Love this App!! Works very well. If you switch to or upgrade your phone, make sure to go to your settings and allow your mic access to this app.

I think it works well, definitely worth the purchase. You can't beat the convenience - you can only carry so much in a sporran, after all!

This app instantly replaced the Korg I've been using. It works exactly the way it should so you can tune each note on your chanter.
