Hangs instantly when you try to adjust song speed on iPhone 6 plus.

This app was one of the reasons I recently bought an iPhone. I wanted the ability to loop a section of a song for practicing guitar. This app does that pretty well. The feature it's lacking however, is the ability to save loops. It's time consuming having to reopen a song, find the part to loop each time you want to practice. Why not just offer an option to save loops? If they did that, I'd pay $20 for this app. Also, apparently this app isn't iOS8 ready. I hope they do this soon so I can update my phone. Anyway…thanks for the free app. I own the THR10X guitar amp as well and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good feature rich recording device and practice amp. Show more

Cannot change speed and pitch. Best free app for practicing guitar :)

This used to be a great little app for slowing down and isolating bits of songs I was trying to learn. It's major flaw was that I had to re-load the song each time I sparked up the app, which was time consuming and unnecessary. Add to that the fact there have been no updates in about 2 years and one wonders about Yamaha's commitment to the app. But ever since I upgraded (?) to iOS 8, the app doesn't work at all. If they fix this bug, then great. If not, well, at least it was free. Show more

Nice app but I wish it could save songs that have been imported so that it's not necessary to reimport the same track every time the app is loaded...

I thought this app did not work on my iPhone 5 with IOS 7 installed, however I discovered that the issue was I needed to download the song I wanted to work with ( I use iTunes Match) as opposed to streaming the song. Just got a new THR 10C today and it is awesome, I give it a 5. From what I can tell so far this app follows suit. Show more

I know it's not a music player app, but it does a better job of playing music, at least to me. I really wish Yamaha would work on a music player app. I'd be willing to pay for a music app with Yamaha tech in it. Show more

Love the app. Wish it worked on IPad!

Works great on my iPhone 4s. Doesn't work on the iPad. Have iPad 1, with all the updates. Never loads a song.

As stated above :) I'd happily pay $20+ for all the features on this app. And btw, the amp rocks too!

Doesn't work on my 3GS since most recent update

Love my THR10. This app is cool, but needs two things to make it great. 1) button to easily clear AB points 2) zoom wave form with scrubbing to make it easy to find points you want to loop. If Yamaha is listening, please consider updating THR5/10 firmware at some point with adjustment to effects curves. Effects are cool, but hard to get just a bit of them. They go from off to over the top. Needs more of a taper. Otherwise almost a perfect amp! Show more

It makes for a good companion app to use with the THR amp. But it's also a great tool to use for guitar players practicing a song. I was able to import a song from iTunes, slow it down, change the pitch, and isolate the vocals from the track, and loop a section over and over to learn it and play along with it. Very cool for a free app!!! Show more
