This is a great collection of beats - but more importantly the FEELS are fantastic. It is better than practicing to a metronome because it gives realistic sense of playing with a drummer - so you learn to match the feel as you learn to play in time. I have at least 10 different percussion programs I use for practicing and Drum Genius has quickly become my favorite because of the wide variety of styles, human quality of feels, and easy to use interface. My one request would be that it would be nice if I could export loops in wav format to use in recording. Show more

I love this app but ever since the first time I used it I’ve been getting blips in the loops. Sometimes they can be played through but a lot of the times the loop loses a half beat or so. It’s frequent enough to make it nearly unuseable. Hoping for a patch or something because I’d love to be able to utilize this. Show more

I use it to build my chops playing at 300+ tempos and I suggest all drummers use this app to perfect their grooves.

Is there any way to transfer the drum loops as files on to logic or garage band

As a guitar player I find this app a great way to improve my timing. I can also record these into my DAT (Logic Pro X) and record a rhythm track to playn along to. Love this app! Show more

I downloaded the app just to check it out. Opened it , found a beat to listen to and clicked preview. It just sat the saying listening then did not play anything. reading these reviews one of the developer responses says to uninstall and reinstall the app. So I did so went back to the same beat and repeated what I did earlier and sadly still the same problem. I decided I would try another beat and unfortunately nothing new. This app has had this issue before(according to the reviews) and still having this same problem today. Seems like 1) it might be a problem that rarely happens due to operating system it’s downloaded on and or WiFi yada yada yada ect. 2) the app developers have not looked at and or resolved this problem. I hope it’s something simple. However it did leave a bad first impression of the app. Chances are I’m going to look into other apps. Wow! I love this app and use it a lot. The loops are of a very high quality and sound amazing and I especially like that most of them are transcribed from real songs. And what a great selection of styles! Thank you Show more

This is one of my favorite apps. I use it all the time and recommend it often. It makes for a much more musical practice session vs practicing with just a metronome. However please update the app! It’s buggy whenever you close it and open it again. Would also be nice if it was possible to download multiple loops at once or download the whole library rather than doing it one by one. Show more

Hi, I purchased the complete version of the app, but to find that the app crashes while downloading most of the loops, using iPhone xs. Also, downloading and previewing are both really slow. The app is great without a doubt. I’m just having this problem and can’t use it as I will. Another suggestion would be to add the transcription of each loop, so no additional effort is required from learners. All the best. Show more
