Simple Scrobbler is an awesome app. It is very “simple” indeed. After you log in and authorize it to use Last.fm you can forget about it and it will continue scrobbling for you without ever bugging you about anything. I love it! Show more

This app has been sitting in my menu bar for as long as I can remember. Almost to the point where I forgot about it. Recently, when iTunes Radio came out, I was pleasantly surprised to find it happily scrobbling away my iTunes Radio plays. That’s a sign of a great, solid piece of software. ★★★★★ Show more

my only complaint is that I can't scrobble the music from my iPod to my last.fm account. I listen to music on my iPod more than I listen to music on my computer so it would be nice to be able to scrobble all the music from my iPod. I would give this app 5 stars if I could do this. Show more

Does exactly what it intends to do with very low overhead, and it doesn't miss any scrobbles at all. Earns five stars for this, would certainly recommend to any Last.fm user who doesn't need more than scrobbling in an app such as this. Show more

I was looking for an easy alternative to the official (terrible) last.fm audioscrobbler, and this app works well. I would like to have the option to turn it on at startup, but that's easy enough to fix through System Preferences>Users. If it scrobbled my iPod when I plugged it in, this app would be PERFECT. scrobbles very well, but does not catch songs on repeat. scrobbles my song on the first listen but does not account for any repeats. 5 stars if fixed

I think "Love track" functionality would be nice to add, however.

I like how small an unobtrusive it is. Those things are what drew me to it. Adding it as a start-up app was simple. Only only complaint is that it doesn't scrobble tracks played on iOS devices after I sync, like the official app does. Add this, and it will be perfect for my needs. Show more

The only things stopping me from giving this 5 stars. 1) The lack of a way to 'Love' a track. 2) The app does not automatically add itself to the active user's login items. Otherwise, this app is unobtrusively excellent and well worth the money. Show more

Does nothing but scrobble your songs, but it has scrobbled everything successfully, without fuss, and the icon doesn't look tacky on the menubar. What more do you need?

Please make this app launch on startup by default for 5★ review. I was distressed when I restarted my computer and realized days later that hours and hours of music hadn't scrobbled. I had to manually enter user settings for this. Show more

SimpleScrobbler does exactly what it says, nothing more, nothing less. My only ask is the ability to ignore certain types of plays (namely, podcasts).

I understand that this is aimed at being a "Lite" app, but it would be nice to have a "love" button in the drop down menu on top. Otherwise this app is great. Show more

Customer service response was quick. Hopefully the fix will stick. Based on the rapid response… the stars go up. Thanks. The Rate this Version pop up is annoying. I bought the app. I did not want to give you a rating. But now I will. I have answered "No Thanks" about 50 times. The Rate this Version button goes nowhere. Your "paid" app acts like shareware or donation ware. Where is the simple??? I just wanted a product as advertised. the little footprint on my computer is a pop up that will not go away. So here is your rating: Scrobbles as advertised. Footprint is in your face. Thumbs down on this version. Please update. Show more

does what it says, and does it well...if it had iPod scrobbling it would be 5 stars...

So easy to use

Doesn't look as nice as Melo, but works much better. Give it some more polish and I will update to 5 stars
