    App just takes your money, gives no access to magazines
    Tries subscribing twice, Took my money and unable ro access content . Contacted Relix and apple customer service, nothing was done to rectify this situation. I wasted 14 dollars and got zip for it, Show more

    App is broken, Relix stole my $6.99
    Great mag, but the app is broken. I subscribed via the app, got charged yet nothing is accessible. When I try to restore subscription from within the app, I get an error. If I try to purchase subscription again, it says I already have a subscription. Vicious cycle. Submitted feedback via app requesting help, no response. Relix stole my $6.99, I want a refund.     No Service
    Numerous times I’ve been asked to pay for issues even though I’m a subscriber. With the most recent issue I’ve requested help four different times with no response or correction.

    Rating is for app, not magazine
    Purchased subscription and then had no access. Required to purchase individual magazines in order to view them.

    Love the App
    No trouble, the app works fine and remembers where I left off at last read. Love Relix because, unlike other magazines, they remember what they are all about - music!

    Great magazine. Terrible app
    Keep loosing access to my subscription. Does not allow landscape mode. Other magazine apps seem better. When compared to other apps (like Mac life), the app does not expand on the print edition. Show more

    Love the focus of this magazine. Especially keen on the Robert Hunter cover story. Just saw making of American Beauty on Amazon Prime.

    Love the magazine, hate the app
    I have been a consistent subscriber to Relix since the 90s. It’s a fantastic magazine full of great articles. However, avoid this app and avoid online subscriptions. I have had to continually update, I no longer have access to dozens of magazines I paid for, and tech support has not offered any help. Avoid this one. Just go to the store to get the physical copy. Show more

    Cannot access issues.
    My subscription is good until June 2019, but I can no longer access any issues since last fall. This is the second time this has happened. I would not recommend this app. Show more

    Stay away...
    Absolute garbage. The subscription keeps renewing but I have no access to any magazines. They couldn’t make trying to restore a subscription any more complicated or difficult. The app has a restore button which does nothing except push you to another login which, even with an account does nothing. It’s too bad that’s such a great publication is mired with such poor technology when obviously that hurdle has been cleared by so many other publishers. If this were the first time I was dealing with this, I would say OK I will work through it. Unfortunately it is not the first time. They seem to have the charge part figured out-they do not seem to have figured out the how to get you your magazine part. Very disappointing. Stick with print even though it is so environmentally unfriendly. Show more

    Can’t get to content
    Paid for a yearly subscription but have no access to the latest issue. No nothing. It wants me to buy it. What’s the point of a subscription If I have to buy each issue? I cancelled in less than 24 hours. Waste of money. Show more

    New version as bad as the old one
    I never could get the old version to work regularly. It would work for a month or two and then stop working. The new version is just as bad. Support from Relix is terrible! Show more

    Great Magazine HORRIBLE APP! NOW FIXED. It’s good!
    Update. All is well again. Relix gave me an access code to restore all the old issues I had back into the App., I now have the current issue and all my old ones in the app. This app is a sad joke. After months of not being able to download new issues, they completely revamped and upgraded the app. Now, I can download the one new issue OCT-NOV. only and all my past issues are GONE. This is ridiculous. Show more

    Lost all access after updated app in nov 2017
    I lost all prior downloaded issues from ipad and can’t download new ones. iTunes itself shows I still have a subscription through 2018. Support for the app has proven to be worthless so far. They’ve given me instructions that don’t work. OBVIOUS FAIL with new app. Update: they *eventually* provided me more complete instructions and solved my problem. If you are having this problem note that you must setup an account with papertrell in addition to having the iTunes Store purchase. Your iTunes account info won’t work. The papertrell account is separate in terms of credentials. (This was not needed with the old app) Show more

    Terrible App Scam!
    Save your money. App is a scam. No content no magazines delivered. Apple needs to refund people who try to buy through this app.

    App doesn't work - no new issues since June 2017
    This is a waste of your money. Either subscribe to the print magazine or contact Apple to get your refund or DONT BUY IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Also it never ever worked fine on the iPhone. The staff & publisher should be ashamed of themselves for selling an app that doesn't deliver the content it promises to. I was on the phone with Apple for over an hour trying to figure this out. BS!     Terrible! Worse than no app at all!
    New issues haven't shown up for months, and old issues disappear and reappear randomly. No response to repeated queries to support, but they continue to charge my subscription. Stick with the paper edition! Show more

    USELESS APP, USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE
    You just earned yourself an official Better Business Bureau complaint Relix. F off. Just flush $5 down the toilet. You will get the same result. UPDATE: You continue to take people's money for the app subscription even though you know customers will not be able to use it. Nice. "The app is currently down and they are working to relaunch it very soon. I am so sorry for the trouble," said Kelly at Relix. I paid for something to use now, not at some point in the future. F off, scammers. Show more
