It has an ad at the beginning (full screen) and then takes you to the app. If you hit the top button (where it plays all the notes in order) it has a pop-up ad. There is a ad at the bottom as well. It is easy to use. You press the note and it play that note for you to tune your guitar with. It's not horrible, but its not the best, but it's free. I thank the developer for a free way to tune my guitar. Show more

Hooray for free apps, but not this one.

This app works fine!! Yes there is an add that pops up as soon as you open it, but just press the tiny black "X" in the corner and it takes you to the app no problem!! All free apps have pop ups and this only has one! It works just fine and it's easy to use and understand for beginners. Don't listen to everyone else it is a great app! Show more

this app is just a pop up ad app with no functionality I'm surprised Apple approved this

Wish I had read the other reviews before I down loaded this. Apple should be ashamed for putting this crap on their web site. Completely unusable. Absolutely worthless. It will take more time to get this app off my Ipad than it took them to write it!!! Show more

Full screen add pops up right away on app launch, then sends you to safari for more. It's not an app it's a trapp.

Disgracefully intrusive ads. Couldn't even use it to tune a guitar. Don't waste your time here.

Really awful and useless. Ads pop up every 10 seconds too. How could anyone say this works?

If you have a good ear for tune then this tuner gets you to 440 and is all you need. If your working too develop your ear then this is a great FREE way to do it. If your just starting out and don't get it the BUY A $20 tuner. Show more

It's terrible not worth your time. The pop up ads make it worse.

Hear note from phone, tune to note. No use of microphone to aid in tuning, but it's effective at being a basic bare-bones aid to get the job done!

This is a very good basic tune app. It has really come in handy in a pinch.
